"As a member of the community and after recommendations I reached out to the clinic. After contact, I was told to send all of my pets paperwork and did as requested. A week or two later I was emailed and told they weren’t taking on new clients. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful as it then took me multiple weeks to look for another vet for my new kitten and 7 year old dog. We need a new vet to open shop in independence!"

"Highly recommend this place! They were super helpful when I first got my dog at explaining what shots were needed and when. They are always very sweet and accommodating. I needed to board my dog last minute and didn't have the kennel cough or flu vaccine yet - they quickly squeezed me in! Definitely recommended!"
"We have not been taking our dogs here very long, but so far we really like this vet and staff. We did like the vet we have been going to for years as well but when we called around, his prices were higher for heartworm checks, shots and visits . . so needed to switch rather than mince on the dogs getting what they need. Independence Vet is a one woman vet operation and she goes out of her way explaining things, which we really like."
