Head for Orlando

"Do yourself a favor and don’t book with this company. They’re terrible to work with. We checked into our “luxury” vacation rental a few days ago and it was so run-down - the carpets and walls were filthy, all the exterior windows were either filled with moisture or covered in something disgusting, the mattresses were downright terrible, and we had no access to Wi-Fi. We reached out to HeadforOrlando for help with either giving us a refund or moving us to a different location and they refused. I now understand why they make you pay up front - they take your money then leave you high and dry when your rental is not how it was advertised. We switched to a hotel and are out a bunch of money. Seriously, save yourself the headache (and money) and don’t book with them."

"I will not recommend this property. The photos that are listed are not accurate. All of the gaming that they so call had was all broken. We also paid an additional fee to have the pool heater and it wasn’t working for the first couple days. We called of total of nine times in order for them to get somebody to help us out. In addition to not having the games available to us and no pool heater for the first 3 days the carpet was very dirty. Please save yourself the head ache and rent another home."

"STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I paid Head For Orlando $2200 to rent a home advertised on their website. This was my third time renting a home with them, but will definitely be my last. After an 18 hour drive, we arrived at the home and found it to be disgusting and unclean. Food crumbs in every room, hair in every bathroom, counters and tables not wiped off. The pool was filled with ripped up cardboard and trash, and it was surrounded by trash, cigarette butts and food covered in ants. The water did not look treated at all. I couldn’t even stay there with my 2 small children because it was so filthy and I didn’t trust that the sheets were cleaned. Not cleaning a home properly during COVID is beyond ridiculous. I contacted the management company (Tropical Escape Resort Homes) that Head For Orlando advised me to, which was closed on the weekends. UNACCEPTABLE. I contacted the owner of Head For Orlando and sent her pictures of the disgusting property, which she agreed to pass on to the management company. I received no response from Tropical Escape Resort Homes the ENTIRE WEEK, and Head For Orlando just said they’d keep trying to get a refund from the management company. I gave the owner of Head For Orlando the benefit of the doubt and believed that she would actually help me, but she didn’t do a thing. Head For Orlando is using the WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY in ORLANDO and is well aware that they are ruining people’s vacations with filthy and dangerous homes. They both have complaints with the BBB and on Google & Yelp. Please read the reviews! I will never use this company again because the owner is aware of the terrible state of these home and could care less. Do yourself a favor and NEVER book a home with HEAD FOR ORLANDO OR TROPICAL ESCAPE RESORT HOMES. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER RESPOND."

"My family took a vacation to Orlando last summer (2018) and stayed at a home in the Solterra Resort. When we arrived, we were in awe of the place. It was beautiful and quite spacious. We had 7 people and we were very comfortable staying there. The house had it's own lanai with pool and it was wonderful. The kids loved being able to swim when they wanted. The resort also had a community club house, with an AMAZING pool, water slide, and lazy river. We spent a day there and had some fun. This particular location was in an excellent location as it didn't take long at all to get to Disney or Universal Studios. Customer service was excellent and the booking process was quite painless. I will definitely book with Head for Orlando again on our next trip to Florida. Thank you for such a wonderful experience."

"The resort that I stayed on was booked through Head For Orlando. It was called Property of Crofton Springs 10 bedroom home. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that it was roach infested. After calling the management office multiple times, they sent someone to spray around the house. As it got later in the day into the evening, the infestation got worse resulting in some of my family members sleeping in the cars. The following morning we called the rental office multiple times and had to leave several messages. Finally around 4pm we received a call back saying that if we left the house that day, we would receive a refund but they were completely booked and didn't have another home for me and my 19 family members. Luckily we were able to find another place able to accommodate us at the last minute. It was a different resort and more expensive. So not only did we lose 2 days of our vacation, we had to spend more money than planned. The home wasn't cleaned, the customer service was terrible. The only thing that they delivered on was having my refund sent back."
