"Nice people and they got my dog in quickly for an urgent nonemergency issue that other veterinarian's offices wanted to schedule 2 weeks out or more. I recommend Cloud Park Animal Clinic. I was impressed with the care that was given to my cat."

"I usually go to airway but was unable to get in so we went here. Hadn’t been here since our first time which was during the pandemic when you couldn’t go in with your pet. We get there and the place is a ghost town. They take us back in the room and the tech asks us what’s going on and takes our cat’s temp while my husband held him. He is a very docile cat. He never meows and I’ve never heard him hiss. The vet comes in. We had him in a laundry basket with a blanket. She proceeds to grab him up out of the basket by his scruff. It’s not like he was over there growling or even agitated. He’s too damn sick to give a damn. The tech continues to hold him down by his scruff as the vet starts here assessment by palpating his abdomen. After this goes on for a minute or so my cat raises his back foot trying to get them off of him. The vet literally jumps and let’s go with both hands up. She then continues. This happens a few more times. He wasn’t even barely aggressive about it. Just annoyed. Every time she would just stop and throw both hands in the air. I got the vibe that she didn’t like cats or animals and was just real jumpy anytime he moved. Once done with her assessment she stated he would need a feline leukemia test. Google it. I have a cat that is 13 years old. The average life expectancy is 2.4 years. I would have had multiple cats drop by now. She was very matter of fact and unpleasant. I ain’t no vet but I am a nurse and based on what I know about the disease that’s not what it is. He has a severe resp virus and needs fluids and medication. The test is $50. My husband mistakenly blurted out how much money we had and that would it be possible to treat him and do the test later this week once we get paid. She agreed and they took my cat out to give him IV fluids. As we were waiting they poked back in the room and asked “how much did you say you had to spend? Of just checking because the price plus the test would bring us a few dollars over that.” Like they were trying to make sure they got the price to that number. Idk I just feel like they didn’t even like animals. It was a just a bad vibe. And don’t even get me started on the receptionist. She’s just off putting af. At least at airway they act like they care and let you comfort your pet while they examine them. If this is how they act in front of us I dread how our pet was treated when we couldn’t go in during Covid."
