Fat Cats

"We came here for a birthday dinner and got reservations beforehand. The parking is somewhat difficult but seems to turn over often - after 10-15 minutes of waiting all of the cars in the parking lot left. We visited after seeing Fat Cats on Diners, Drive-Ins and Drives so I had to get the Pork Belly Bao Bun that was shown! It was great but I expected there to be some vegetable or green on the plate - it looked a little empty. The pork belly was delicious though. We got the vegan calamari made of heart of palm. It was great - very crispy and similar in texture to calamari. For four people it was gone very quickly! We also got the adobo fried chicken which was very crispy and tasty! The slaw was also good but quite sour if you are not into sour/pickled things. We also got the crab grilled cheese. We got the banh mi as our vegetarian option which was ok. The milli vanilli cocktail was not too strong and had a unique flavor! Our reservation was at 5:30 and we finished up around 6:30 but they seemed very keen on getting us to leave, often asking if they could take our plates even when we were just talking and finishing up while we were waiting for the check. Overall, a very cool vibe with some great food options!"

"Fat Cats is one of the best spots in Tremont, whether you want to dine or just have a cocktail (or two). The cocktails are great and the food is always on point. The indoor area is cozy and you can shop some of the artwork on the walls. The outdoor area has a nice view of Cleveland. There is usually a wait so be prepared to put your name down for a table, especially if you’re trying to eat with a bigger crowd."

"The appetizers were great, but I got the Pancit with Pork Belly, and it was not very good. The pork belly was dry, and there was barely any there. My friend got the pasta bowl, and he enjoyed that very much. The service was fantastic and it was a fun, cute atmosphere. All in all, I would recommend for a fun evening out."

"Great food, wish the sweet potato fries were thicker to taste the sweet potato. Great area don’t think they have parking i park on the street unless is the lot across the street from the restaurant. They have an order pick up window, no regular beverage mostly alcoholic beverages. Great price for the food. Will go again and recommend."

"I had such high hopes for this place. The restaurant looks so cozy from out outside, so eclectic inside, I was hoping for simply amazing lunch. The staff was super polite and very attentive. The lady that greeted us in the front room had a very good idea of what was happening and invited us to sit at the bar while our table was getting ready. My friend order dishes they enjoyed, ribeye sandwich and fried chicken were great according to them. Unfortunately, my burger fell short. It was plain and messy. The burger patty was so plain that I had to request other condiments to finish it. Fries were more soggy than crisp. Luckily, I also order butternut squash soup which was very good. The parking situation can be tricky. The restaurant has a very small parking lot and the street parking is limited"
