"We ordered two Homestead breakfast meals with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were raw potatoes. Looks like they were put on grill, flipped once with slight browning and put in to go container. The potatoes were gross. This will probably be our last time eating Bob Evans"

"Our waitress seemed more interested in being a social butterfly with the coworkers than paying attention to her section. Husband ordered a ham cheese omelette. The eggs looked like they were deep fried. We both looked for even 1 piece of cheese, patty sausages were overcooked, toast? It would have had to be actally put in a toaster, and what was the yellow funky stuff on his bread? My over medium eggs were correct, hash browns? Heavy with oil that was clearly rancid. Coffee was barely warm. Had our social butterfly stopped by to even ask how the food was would have provided a chance to request new food. Like, ALL OF IT. HOW SPECIAL. THE SO CALLED MANAGER POSTED THAT REPLY AS IF THEY CARED!!! INVITED ME TO MAKE CONTACT!! THE LINK SENT ME TO A FORM TO FILL OUT. SO STUPID!! SO I FOUND THE CORPORATE PHONE NUMBER AND GUESS WHAT MY FELLOW AMERICANS. BOBBY EVANS OUTSOURCES TO OVERSEAS TO ANSWER THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE (COUGH COUGH) PEOPLES. BOYCOTT THEM!!!!!!"

"We arrived Sunday late afternoon-4:30. Then another couple came in. Only ones in the restaurant. All the tables were cleaned off except one...across from where we sat and it was a mess! My friend loved her Lemon Pepper Sole fish, broccoli & potatoes. I was not hungry so opted for the Cinna-Biscuits which were delicious. Just keep in mind they're biscuits, not yeast rolls. Yes, the table across from us had not been cleared when we left, an hour later. (I noticed 3 servers and a manager on staff. And this issue was more of a "me thing" as I've been a server-a few times- and my managers always wanted the dining rooms cleared right away.)"

"Service average. Cleanliness average. Ordered the two biscuits with side of hashbrown and gravy. 11.99 great price. Biscuits were old and crumbled. Gravy was watery. Ordered a side of links. They were cold. Overall not satisfied but also keeping in mind that it's Bob Evans. But still pretty hard to mess up breakfast food."

"I actually made this visit as a 'secret shopper' to see if the waitstaff would proactively offer Mt Dew. When she did, I gave her $20 and revealed the purpose of my visit. I don't think it 'skewed' the results for the purpose of this review as I watched what was going on throughout my visit. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and busy doing what they should have been doing. The food was very good and the most expensive thing on the menu was under $14. Their focus is breakfast anytime, and 'down home cooking'."
