"I have been going to the Alex Bell Location since 2013 and I cannot recall a bad meal here ever! Your Mom's meatloaf is my favorite dish but I also recommend: the Kobe Beef Burger, the Yuengling beer battered fish and Nachos for your main dish. I highly recommend the mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts with vinaigrette and bacon for your sides. Our go to for an appetizer is the fried pickles and the house made thousand islands dressing. Thank you for always having impeccable service, hot shareable meals and offering carryout and delivery. We do our best when we come to visit the Dayton area to stop in and eat here whenever we are in town. We live two hours away from the nearest Doubleday's but if you open another location in Columbus we will definitely be a returning customer!"

"Edit: we went recently and the food was really good. Service was much better. I ordered the pot roast french dip with mac and cheese. The sandwich was really good, but the mac & cheese was delicious! Updated 6.10.23 Food was really good. Service started off good then declined the longer we were there. They were out of pretzel buns and onion rings. Visited on a Saturday evening, the wait was maybe 15 min to be seated. We will definitely be back."
