"Got carry out tonight for the family. Everything was spot on. The smash burger might be one of the best burgers I’ve had in Dayton. Period. The Mac and cheese was a resounding success with my kids. They were left speechless which is nearly impossible to do. Lastly the boneless chicken wings were perfect. We will defiantly be back."
"After a hard day working at a trade show, we had a very nice meal, both having the meatloaf sandwich and mac & cheese and beers (stout and lager). Lovely atmosphere. Our only suggestion would be that the sandwiches were over-slathered with catsup and that brown gravy or even BBQ sauce might have been a better topping. I liked the mac n cheese even though I suspect that Velveeta was used! Owning a business or two myself; it seems that restaurants are over priced these days and I'm wondering how long a clientele can be sustained when dinner costs over $25 per person. My family for instance is not eating out as often as we were even a year or two ago. But having said that, Doubleday's was an excellent choice for my good friend and I. Deano"
