Dragon 1 Chinese Restaurant

"I tried Dragon 1 for the first time and the service was fast and friendly (I ordered a carry-out via phone). The food was OK. It's your average fast food Chinese. Not the best I've ever had but definitely not the worst. I will say that $8.75 for the lunch special is a good deal when most places are up to $13 - $15 for entrees these days. Here's why I won't be back.....when you walk in the door it's like I stepped back in time to 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. They obviously used to have tables and chairs because the chairs are lined around the walls. They are also using that area for storage because there's a gazillion brown boxes full of plastic food containers lining the walls as well. So it's just a big counter and a small empty dining area with stacked boxes and old chairs. The counter is covered in plexiglass that's been there long enough to be cloudy and smeared with cleaning products. It's extremely uninviting and it's 2024 so let's get rid of the plexiglass now. The floor was covered in parking lot salt/dirt 15 minutes after they had opened so it was never cleaned from the day before and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. If they aren't cleaning that area, are they cleaning their kitchen? The restaurant looks old and greasy, and really needs updating. Value or not, I can't go back."

"Very friendly service however, our food wasnt cooked all the way usually they put water chestnuts in mo goo gai pan sweet & sour chicken not evenly cooked some hard and some halfway the rice undercooked and paid over $30.00 for 2 people by the time decided to call and see if they were willing to redo our order they were closed! Very disappointed with the food id change my review if they reconsider remake to save the intrigrity of Dragon 1 Chinese restaurant; most humble customers!!"

"Well sad to do this but my wife loved this place with a few mishaps over the year we have been here. But this is by far the worst mistake any restaurant with food prep can make. We found sticks on our vegetables that were cooked into our food. And there’s no way in hell no one didn’t see this mistake. I have provided pictures as well. Will never eat here again. My wife is more pissed that our kids was eating this when we found the stickers. Grave mistake."

"I’m confused at the negative reviews here. I’ve ordered a few times now, and the food is always fantastic. My husband and I have tried the orange chicken, general Tso’s, sesame chicken, shrimp dishes, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, etc. Chicken is perfectly cooked and it’s the best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had! I’ve never ordered delivery from the restaurant (only Door Dash), but it’s pretty quick and the food travels well!"

"Quick service & hot delicious food. This is my go to take out (home) Chinese restaurant. I enjoy the shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. Portion sizes are big for your money."
