"Oh my goodness where to start! I can’t even begin to describe how full my heart is! I came into Charlotte County Flowers at the end of the day 20 minutes til closing to be exact to “extremely last minute” ask to purchase a corsage and a boutonnière for my sons homecoming the following day, because… I am that last minute kinda mom no matter how hard I try. Meanwhile mind you this very kind pleasant woman is standing behind a STACK of empty corsage packages, to which I barely saw her eyes over and I instantly tried to retract my question. She informed me that the ones in the cooler were already sold and that stack I saw before me was what she was taking home to work on. I went to apologize as I’m realizing her workload and she very sweetly replied “what color?” I said “no I couldn’t” and she replied “what color are they wearing?” I answered “green” and she said “can you be here by noon tomorrow?” I had not anticipated homecoming this year nor have I for the past two years, you see my son Cameron is a junior in highschool. My son has septo optic dysplasia (he is legally blind), he is autistic and he has cerebral palsy but he is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. He expressed he wanted to attend this year so I scrambled to get everything in less that 48 hours of this event. I was ecstatic that he wanted to venture out of his comfort zone!!! I returned to the shop promptly the following day, the staff was energetic, kind and simply amazing! It was a mad house of homecoming pickup orders and constant flow of customers but they kept the flow going and smoothly I might add. We got to pick from a few different options and they made a boutonnière as we stood there. And they gave us the greatest gift I could have ever imagined the same woman who had assisted me the day before (forgive me for not recalling her name) said “it’s on the house” I said “I couldn’t!!” To which she replied “no, I insist” (for the negative thinkers out there she had never met my son prior to this) I introduced her to Cameron after she gifted us these beautiful flowers to make his very first official highschool dance simply amazing!! Charlotte County Flowers THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!"
