"Our trusted appliance repairman recently retired and I've been dreading the next time something breaks down. This past week, our front-load washer stopped draining. I saw Motor City Appliance's great reviews, called, scheduled an appointment for three days out, but because of the wet clothes, I ended up switching to a company that advertised same-day service. When the same-day tech came out and quoted me a price, I knew he wasn't being honest with me about the cost of the parts and his labor fee was double what my previous serviceman charged. So, I told him to leave and called back Lydia at Motor City Appliance and booked another appointment. Then took my wet clothes to the laundry mat. When Dan came out three days later, the difference between him and the other repairman was like night and day. He was professional and put me at ease immediately. He was spot on regarding the cost of parts and his service fee was competitive. His estimate came in at half the price I was quoted by the other company. Now our washer is running smoothly and I am so thrilled to have found a trustworthy repair service for my appliances. I'd recommended Dan to family and friends. Needless to say, I put his number into my phone contacts for the next time something needs repair."

"I will definitely recommend Dan to all of my family and friends. I have used him twice now and I am very impressed with how professional and friendly he is. Our first call a few years ago was for a leaky fridge, he fixed the issue and informed us on how to prevent it from happening again. Today he was out to fix our washing machine, it was not draining or spinning. With his recommendation we will not be fixing our washer, but instead we will have to replace it completely. The cost to repair would have not been worth it and it will be cheaper to just replace. I was very impressed with both his honesty and advice to just replace it. I was also very impressed that he waived his sevice fee - any other company would have still charged for coming out. "Family owned business and I loved that! Really nice and professional from the time we called to make the appointment to the time they left our door with repairs complete. Dan was the man! When it rained... it poured and he was able to fix all 4 of our appliances from Themador dish washer and hood fan, to Kenmore Elite washer and dryer. He was very thorough and explained what was broken and what/why it happened. We have had 2 other companies before that ripped us off and we knew it. This company is not out to get you.
