"Rocky Point has awesome views from the pool and pier spots that they have for residents. I have seen dolphins, sharks, stingrays, and multiple types of fish from the pier. The sunsets/rises are so beautiful, it’s almost unbelievable. There aren’t many kids in the neighborhood, but we have an 8 year old boy that has a blast with the amenities that are available and we go fishing off the pier as much as we can. My teenage daughter and wife also appreciate that pool and hot tub that are available. The upkeep is good and the property manger is very accommodating and has a good personality."
"Rocky Point was my dream destination ever since I lived here 20 years ago. I rented v Back then at Post Rocky Apts which was a beautiful time. As I moved away from Tampa I became more and more drawn to visiting the same area are used to live. I would rent hotels every time I came in the specific area because of its beautiful pristine water views and proximity to the airport and beaches. I’m finally said to myself why can’t I purchase something at Rocky point so I can be here forever since I love it so much so I did. I feel blessed and honored to be part of this community. I am remodeling my first ever purchased a condo/home in my life. Of course it’s not easy and it’s not cheap but this is my dream and dreams don’t come easy. There’s not much on this island to purchase so I feel like I got a piece a jewel in old Tampa Bay!!"
"Previous reviewer is completely inaccurate. I've lived here for 2½ years and have really enjoyed it. There's quite a bit of ethnic diversity. Nearly everyone has a dog. The complex is very clean and maintenance/repairs are very prompt. The one drawback is the complex's proximity to Hogan's Beach. The addition of this weekend-hot-spot has caused a really difficult traffic situation for anyone living on rocky point. The facilities are really nice. The pool is heated and there's a gym and sauna available for residents. I really wish that they would put a wifi signal in the clubhouse that's available for residents' use in the gym and by the pool. It would make a really big difference."
