"If you want to be screamed at during this already stressful time (renovation) and pay exorbitant prices, this is the place to call. Try not to be put off when the project manager makes racist comments about work that he calls “Afro-engineering,” whatever that means. We had to have our walls repainted and have a different electrician come out to fix what they didn’t fix right after theirs was here. The light they installed fell down the next day and they had to come back and reinstall it properly, which we were charged for. Many times we were told things couldn't be done by the negative project manager, so one extra star for Pete and Lair's efforts. They would charge a substantial “Becker Home Maintenance General Overhead” with each bill. They left a huge mess for me to clean up after doing any work; they must not “do” trash. I can't say that the projects were easy but we paid plenty for the work to get done and they were paid in advance--for everything. Famous quote from our project manager (after spending $11,000): “We are in business to generate a profit and I promise you we are not getting rich off your job.” Um, you’re welcome."
"I cannot say enough good about Becker. They were phenomenal In replacing my cabinets when my house flooded. We hired them a second time and they were amazing in replacing closet and pantry doors. They are very conscientious, dependable, trustworthy and all of the guys that worked on our house, are very personable. They take a lot of pride in their work and that’s a rare find these days!
