Oakland Hills Apartments

"DON'T MOVE HERE!!! All they care about is money, there is mold and all they do is paint over it so the place has a moldy smell that you can't get rid of. They have a $254 late fee that they do their best to charge you even if the 1-3 of the month is on a weekend. They try to force you to pay online when their system never works. They charged my account 3 times and then charged me a non sufficient funds fee of $100, when they are the ones that pulled the rent 3 times and overdraft my account. For your own sanity don't move here. The staff is condescending and full of fake smiles. The worst place I ever lived. This is 2023 people should not pay this much for rent and live like this. Everyday I'm chasing lizards out of my apartment. I wish I could give it zero stars."

"I wish there was an options for 0 stars. This is the worst place in the world to live!!!!!!!!!! They are crooks and all they care about is the money! The appliances and constantly breaking and they give you another used broken down appliance with bugs in it. Yes I said bugs! When my fridge broke for the second time in a matter of 6 months, they replaced it with a fridge infested with bugs. I made a big complaint and all they did was send someone to “clean the fridge” and pest control. They don’t take care of the apartments and they don’t care about their tenants living conditions. Not to mention there is mold in the apartment units. Please keep your health and money in mind before moving to this place!"

"Worst place I have ever experienced in my entire life. Every unit is roach/mold infested. Took almost two weeks to fix a/c and still after it was repaired if you turn the a/c on hot the a/c would catch flame. Maintenance are all very poor at their job. Non residents bulk dump and treasure hunt in dumpsters. Office/management scammed me for my last months rent by saying they would take me to court if I didn’t pay my last month rent but I did make my last month rent payment when I signed lease they also scammed me for my entire deposit by saying i damaged carpet but the damage was already there when I moved in. OAKLANDHILLS APARTMENTS ARE SCAMMERS!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE TRUST ME!!!!"

"So it’s been 2 weeks since I moved in and I must say I enjoy living here. It’s a great neighborhood, and the staff is very helpful, friendly and kind. They appreciate and value you as a tenant, customer service is exceptional when you call maintenance comes ASAP whether it’s during business hours or not. The units are very homey, all my appliances were completely new. They gutted the whole unit, we walked into a brand new apartment. My family will be staying here til we’re ready to purchase a home.
