Casa Mara

"My girlfriend lives here and I visit often. The amenities are amazing, the neighbors seem friendly and there are so many restaurants and stores walking distance. I always enjoy visiting Casa Mara so I definitely recommend it to anyone considering moving here!"

"Our truck window was shattered and rummaged through while on the property. We contacted the police immediately upon finding our damaged vehicle. While crime is a problem just about anywhere in the city, the way the property management handled this incident was horrible and shows that their care for their residents and their residents' property is lacking. We thought the incident happened the night prior, but while the police were on property we had multiple residents inform us that there were at least 3 cars broken into with shattered windows 4 days prior, including our truck. Our truck was parked in an area that maintenance passes daily, multiple times a day. My husband called the office during business hours the next day and was told by the associate working that they knew the truck was broken into but did not know who the truck it belonged to since our plate was not registered. Our vehicle has a sticker on it associated to the property and our apartment we were given at the time of moving in. The apartment complex instead had maintenance pass our truck multiple times a day, for 4 days, with a shattered window without putting any decent effort into contacting us through an email to the apartment building asking the owner of the truck to contact them, or even better, filing a police report that a break in happened on their property so that the police could contact us. Instead they ignored it and our property and waited for us to find it. Waiting 4 days so that our truck was exposed to 2 inches of rain with the window down (bc of being shattered). Now we have more than just a shattered window to repair. In addition to this, we tried multiple times to get in contact with a manager of the property to understand how this happened, however the manager was in meetings all day and unable to break from the very important meeting to discuss the police report or our safety concerns and diligence observing the property. We've been fined $100 because we had an empty Amazon box next to our door on the wrong day for trash, receive an email weekly about how to properly maintain an AC unit to prevent humidity, and have about 20 signs in grass areas to pick up dog poop, BUT one of their residents has a shattered and broken into vehicle and they don't make any attempt to notify them or contact the police. They don't notify fellow residents about the car break ins and how to keep themselves and their belongings safe. Clearly they know how to communicate about THEIR property, but not the property of their residents. Does this facility have a nice pool, nice amenities, and recently updated finishings, yes. But I would choose a completely different option to know that management cares about its residents over this complex, yes. While previously I've felt safe on the property, this instance makes me very concerned for my safety due to their response and what isn't being shared with residents."

"They deleted my previous review so positing again. I called to complain about residents having s3x in the hot tub, which I provided video footage of (their 4 person hot tub group s3x was posted on twitter), and provided the resident’s name and apartment number, and management said there was nothing they could do… this is clearly not a safe space for families or anyone if you’re allowed to break the law and there be no repercussions. Call me crazy but I feel like having group s3x in the public hot tub should get you removed from the complex."

I also can’t even express how amazing the staff is!!! From the office staff all the way to the maintenance team, I am extremely grateful for them.
