"I lived in E101, its on the first floor closest to the gazebo. I moved in back in January of 2023. In FEB, It rained a ton, my bedroom floor had water coming up from under the laminate. a few days later the base board all around my room and the hallway and closet (single closet room) were swollen and molding. They offered to move me to a different apartment in a different building, but i would have to pay a $300 transfer fee, and only have 3 days to move and clean. SO the other option was to stay and they would fix it. In march, they came in a replaced the bottom 2 feet of the drywall and all the baseboards. never came back to paint it or anything. just 3 days and some well sanded drywall mud. WELL me not knowing any better about it, thought that the mold situation was handled. Come October/November, we have all been not feeling well my partner who works out of town cant breathe when he is home. My kids had to have blood work done for high lead levels (unrelated to this) and their results also showed high markers for mold toxcicity. So i got a home test from Home Depot and it grew tons of spores almost over night. unfortunatly, my tots liked the science experiment so i never got it tested because they touched it. I let the office knwo that I suspected mold and they sent out a water remediation company. That guy siad "no water present so there is no mold". The office refused to do any further testing, despite me telling them that he did no testing for mold, only water. The next tep in the gaslighting from the maintenance supervisor, was to come into the apartment (with me present and my permission) to cut two holes in the previously repaired drywall to show me that there no mold in the entire apartment because they fixed that part. When i asked about the other side of the walls that got wet, i was told that the insulation is dry so there cant be mold. even though that was also replaced back in feb/march. Because of all this I gave them my notice, and I left."

"Lived here for a year. Unlike other comments, I never had a problem with management. Although they did take 4 months to get me the referral bonus, which was annoying, but I eventually got it. I found everyone in the office pleasant and helpful. The reason for my bad review is because after about 7 months of living there (unit was on the first floor), we began to have a major German cockroach infestation. Never kept food out, cleaned the apartment daily, exterminator would come every 2 weeks, but still major infestation. Also, about once a week, we would find a tree frog in one of our bathrooms, which was odd, but obviously not harbor grove's fault. I just think you could do better for such a high rental rate. The units are poorly constructed, yet charged like they're top of the line."

"This place is great at first glance and in a great location. But like many of these new “luxury apartments” companies they are managed poorly. We had originally rented a first floor unit which flooded within the first two months of being there. Fortunately we were able to move up to the second floor. Although management had known these units flooded so they shouldn’t have been moving tenants in until the issue was resolved. Upon move in we were told we could refer our friends and family and get $500 off of our rent per referral. Months later we’ve referred two people now. Roughly three weeks ago I was told by a staff member that these $500 referrals would reflect in my November rent. Now comes the first of the month and all of a sudden the referral is only worth $200. They’ve said “the policy has changed”. Interesting since it’s only been a couple of weeks. The rent is high enough for a 600 square foot unit, that is built poorly on the interior. A tenant who is now the reason you have TWO new tenants is lied to? So just a warning to all, the place looks great. But management is poor and only cares about money, not the well being of tenants (as you can clearly see from other reviews as well)."

"Moving is always stressful and can be chaotic. This was our first time moving into a community as we have always rented through an independent landlord and building. Having to understand that the office gets busy with other tasks and clients, Morgan (with the assistance of Hector) completed our move-in very kindly and very organized. The community is very well taken care of and is also very quiet. At my building I don’t ever have a problem with parking. I was concerned with receiving packages or deliveries and have not had any problems at all. Our apartment is very nice and we are really happy here. My son walks our dog through the community and has no problems and she loves it as well. She loves going out on the patio and basking in the sun! My commute to work has lessened dramatically and also our accessibility to everything we need. So, thank you Morgan for all of your hard work and for making us very happy residents!"
