Summerlin at Winter Park Apartments

"Possibly one of the worst apartments I’ve been in. I live here due to a new move to Florida and they had the first availability. The guys who do the firearms and filters at times had woken me up 2-3 times in the morning while I came home from a night shift; because they lost some filters, after telling them it wasn’t at my apartment. I ONCE, had used the clubhouse to enjoy their activities and quickly never again because of management being very rude to staff or whoever they were talking down to at the front desk and I don’t think it was something to be so open with while residents are utilizing the clubhouse. It’s almost like they want to force residents out. If you text them or email, I NEVER get a response until I show up or call with attitude. This one is the one that really gets to me because if I need to communicate then get told I never did but then other times when something small they answer no problem, so just say you push off unwanted texts or emails, instead of blaming resident. Every 3 uses of the microwave, power blows where I became an expert with the control panel. And while I had had an issue with my bathtub peeling and was weird colors, all they did was resurface I guess it would be called; and spray painted my shower just for it to lift and peel again very awkwardly. After LIGHTLY RENOVATING entirely multiple apartments around me. I would just say renovate the baths if years of spray paint is starting to lift. I’ve mentioned to them multiple multiple times my apartment after coming back from a trip smells like mold and just musty, and instead of having people come in and do testing, they SPRAYPAINT my vents and laughed at me saying mold. When my sinuses have been flaring up anytime I leave and come back and THEY HAVE NOT sent no one to check, an actual Professional to test the walls etc etc. Let’s not get started on the random insects and such that come through the drains. Lastly, I’ve commented about how a neighbor keeps having her cigarettes in my Balcony and such, and nothing was done about it; neighbor also has a dog they leave for days and will BARK NONNN STOP and scratching on the floors at night where it’s just constant noise. I just get no peace here. Safe to say once my lease is up, I will be leaving. ** Moved here Jan. 2022"

"Trash has been left on the ground for the past month. I was told that "there's nothing they can do until the city picks it up". I pay rent to live somewhere where trash is literally dumped on the ground outside my home, and it has been this way for weeks. Why management couldn't rub two brain cells together and buy a trash bin from walmart in the meantime is beyond me. Rosalind in the leasing office was very rude and hung up on me when reporting this. My move in day was pushed back because it was "not ready". Imagine my surprise to move into an apartment that was not thoroughly cleaned. Mold in the kitchen faucet. The light outside my front door full of dead bugs. Bite marks on the bathroom door where the last tenant obviously had a dog. The hot tub is broken for months at a time. Nothing about this place is "luxury" living. They offered a more expensive 18 month lease as opposed to a cheaper shorter lease. Probably because they know you wont be back."

"AVOID** This was an amazing place back in 2021. New management took over and it all went to heck. We have a huge roach infestation. We also have a big BAT ISSUE. They are coming in through some small crack and keep telling us it's through the front door. It's not. We don't want to kill the bats we want them to stop coming in. Please avoid coming here until they get it together. Also crime has increased and cars get broken into. Only decent thing about this place is the maintenance crew they are the only ones that seem they care."

"Their gym is never open, hot tub has been broken for a year now, and it’s beginning to be ridiculous. Why am I paying for an apartment and the amenities and I can’t use any of them? If you are three days late with rent… They penalize you $300. They told me at the beginning of the lease that they would waive the fee once a year. And then a year later when I try to get my late fee waived… they change it to once every lease. This apartment complex is terrible."

"Don’t move in this place, Worst place I’ve ever stayed, dirty roach infested, broke balcony screen. Windows screen had a hole in it and the bedroom windows screen hanging off the window. Bottom of the stove was broken. Roaches in the cabinets fridge and freezer, bathroom toilet nasty. And the nerve to be charging high rent. They should knock the whole place down. When they told me my apartment. Yeah ok how was it ready. Filthy and disgusting. Run far away from this place."
