"Hotel is a joy. Rooms, location and ambiance are delight. Service has been good, and on the occasion that I had an issue with food it was rapidly and professionally taken care of. Front desk staff have always been professional and friendly. Food hasn’t been quite up to the same standard in the couple of times I’ve eaten here, but I will try again due to everything else being great."

"The hotel is beautiful. Great location is near, seemingly, everything. The service deserves more than 5 stars. Everywhere I turned I was greeted and a door was opened. No task was too small and everyone seemed genuinely friendly. While everything was beautiful and upscale, I still felt comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for such great experience and I am excited to return!"

"We have admired Alfond Inn as a charming property as repeat guests. However, my wife and I are disturbed about management incident after our weekend stay from Feb 4-6. Housekeeping staff, which didn't tend to our room during our stay for reasons we don't know, charged $500 to us for a cleaning fee, citing a bogus curtain stain that we didn't cause and we don't recognize. Most concerning, no one from management bothered to reach out to discuss the charge. They didn't notify me or send email a receipt. They simply charged my credit card on file, which is deceptive and tarnishes the values of the Scholarship Fund. If I didn't review my credit card statement, it would have gone unnoticed. If we caused this, we would have promptly notified the front desk and gladly take responsibility. We requested for Jason Cotton to contact us to discuss, so hopefully a proper explanation and correction will restore our confidence in the Alfond Inn."

"Stunning hotel! It is chock-full of contemporary art. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Lots of attention to detail. The hotel is very close to Park Avenue. Hamilton Kitchen, which is located in the hotel is fabulous. I found the front desk staff to be a bit obtuse and only marginally helpful. For this type of hotel, I would expect more."

"The Alfond is a very thoughtful, not overdone, attractive hotel in the center of Winter Park's downtown and bustling Park Avenue. I've eaten several times at the hotel's restaurant, Hamilton's Kitchen, and been quite satisfied with few exceptions. This time was my first overnight stay at the hotel for business. And with this stay came the opportunity to see rooms and a few of the hotel's meeting spaces, neither of which disappointed. From business lunches and cocktail receptions to a few dinners, the hotel's food and beverage facilities and staff met or exceeded my group's expectations in terms of professional service, food variety and taste. The Christmas time holiday vibe made the place all the merrier during my stay. I can highly recommend the Alfond Inn hotel for leisure or business travel."
