Homestead Colony Apartments

"Here’s the sad reality of this apt community. They raised the rent all the time they claim our rent includes the amenities but we truly have no amenities the pool has been closed for years they come to clean it but no one is allowed to use it they don’t inform us why either it’s always a different excuse of why we can’t use it first it was covid then it was broken then waiting on inspection but everyone knows it’s just them just making ir so no one can enjoy it with their kids and families. The basketball courts are dirty and the rims are broken. The park for kids to play in is disgusting they never clean it. It doesn’t have a protective covering for the ground for kids it’s just dirt and weeds and there have been times were u find condom wrappers and other disturbing things all around the ground. The apt have roaches, mold and are outdated the is disgusting particles coming out of the air conditioning ducts. They never upgrade anything. The property manager is horrible she’s extremely rude to everyone she always taking pictures and fining everyone for any little thing. The trash is always back up we have to drive to the front to throw everything out. It’s sad cause u would think that if a community is going to raise ur rent that at the very least they would make everything better but they don’t it’s a miserable place being ran by a miserable lady and they don’t care about the tenets or their families at all. The pictures are no where near the reality of what’s doing on don’t be fooled"

"I have been a resident for over 15 years, and one good thing that I can say is that is a secure community place to live in, with minor outside disturbances my neighbors are commendable and steady. The outer community surrounding has always been well groomed and looking pleasant. Office staff provides excellent service always polite and take care of any immediate needs. As a Long hall tenant the areas that need much improvement these are: better pest control service, updating old appliances, changing lighting to LED for saving on energy, water saving toilet flushers as well as faucets , and finally a tub replacer would be greatly well appreciated. :)"

"Mold for everywhere and they don’t do anything about it they never answer the phone call or email, and actually the email they give is out of service. The maintenance workers get inside the houses without permission and generally all maintenance jobs are very bad. In the office they always have excuses and do not solve any of the problems It is a shame because the community is very quite and the apartment are very spacious and confortable but the service doesn’t not match."

"I have been living in this property for more than 2 years i have a small 11 year old boy that loves to enjoy the pool unfortunately for some reason I don’t understand they lock the pool entrance closed with a chain and lock EVERY WEEKEND that is not fair to the parents and children that live in Homestead Colony every resident has a card entrance to the secured pool area. Last summer was decided to repair the pool the whole summer now when the only time kids could go and enjoy the pool area you decide to close it today is memorial day weekend can you explain why management does care about his residents and not even going to talk about the filthiness about this whole property would love to see your hypocrite response to this review."
