"Very remote camp site to enjoy a quiet evening under the stars, on a clear night. A great dark sky camping location. Once you pay the $35 park fee to enter the Everglades National Park it will be about 45 minutes until you arrive at the camp grounds. The layout is nice, they have various fire pits, and the public restrooms were clean. Yes, there are a lot of mosquitoes, it's the Everglades."

"If the campground could do anything about the mosquitos, copious mud or excessive rainstorms, I would give them a 1. However they can’t and the staff were welcoming and facilities were kept up daily. Hot water I thought would be an issue but we were so sticky a cold shower was great. The vendor (flamingo) accommodated a change for us from RV generator site to tent site as we are small and the generator noise is strong. Would recommend bikes and or boats as the trails are short and muddy. Excellent boardwalks bring you to fascinating places. The place is crazy diverse. Lastly you probably only need a few days here unless you are planning a remote trip."

"Absolutely the best to be with nature!!! Beautiful place to camp, the marina store has all your supplies and in the morning they have breakfast burritos also for sale 10$ but very well worth it! Bring the family , please respect nature and pick up after yourself so others can continue to enjoy."

"We love it here. Super relax and well maintained. We stayed for one night and even with the bad weather we had a good time. All the staff are super friendly. Some of the sheet had stains on it but the bed were comfortable. But I was expecting worse. My only recommendation: We stayed in the eco-tent which food is not allowed because will attract animal. Make sense. But our problem was the picnic area have no cover and we had really bad weather. We didn't know how we would going to eat. Good thing we had sandwiches and didn't have to depend on the grills. So you either get in your car or risk getting fine for eating in the tent. I would recommend the park to add covered area for days like this. Otherwise people will have to eat at the tent since there is no other options. Specially with kids."

"Very nice and well kept campground. Nice pull through electric site. In the park. Even Lone pine a nice campground. There’s a store and marina for a boat tour. Very friendly staff. Only complaint solar shower’s water was still cold. Price is reasonable."
