Brookview at Navarre Sound

"To start off I’d like to say that Brookview is a nice place. I truly do appreciate the efforts from all the staff to make Brookview a good place for all the “soundies”. HOWEVER. One of the things I feel could be done better is the maintenance of the Gym. More specifically the two treadmills that are non functional, the stair master that is nonfunctional, and the elliptical that creaks and clanks. I’m not sure how long the cardio equipment has been like that, but I asked a few other residents and they told me it’s always been broken. See it is frustrating for me and my wife because the amenities such as the gym attracted us into moving to Brookview. This directly affects my day to day life because when I wake up in the morning I always do some form of cardio such as stairs and treadmill. So one Sunday morning I wake up and walk over to the Brookview Gym to do cardio. To my surprise, almost all of the cardio equipment was non functional. The only pieces of cardio equipment which worked was the one recumbent bike, rower, and elliptical. And the thing about that is. Even though those pieces of cardio equipment were functional. They were a little outdated. For example when I hop on the recumbent bike at Brookview gym. I have to put the bike on level 33 resistance, to get the same effect as a bike on level 11 resistance, at a commercial gym. Its practically like I’m peddling the air. How am I supposed to get my summer bod like that Brookview?? Come on help me out would you :/ Relevant as of February 14th, 2024. I will edit my review once the issues are resolved."

"Property is very neat. Pool is amazing. Grounds well maintained. Apartments are spacious with appliances. Balconies to dream for. Apartment complex gives fillings as 5 star hotel. It has so many features rare to othes. Leasing agent is supper nice. She is willing to take extra steps to accommodate the tenants. I wish that complex and those nice people who work there prosperity. Be blessed"

"It was fine when I lived there. Really no complaints. It was moving out that really got to me bad. I moved out in May and paid all my move out fees/damages etc. Four months later I get an email saying I owe $800 for damages? Haven’t lived in the apartment for months so I was confused on where these new damages came from. I have been reaching out for months and they keep ignoring me because they know what they did was wrong. They refuse to give me corporates number/email. That fee was sent to collections and is on my credit now. They are so unprofessional. Please be careful when moving out and document everything. Now I have to get with the military to seek legal advice."

"We lived here for over a year and absolutely loved it. They even assisted during a bizarre and invasive situation. An old coworker moved to the complex, and berated me loudly to others. He moved again into the apt above us, and left the windows open so I heard him live eavesdrop/berate me and get “busy” for hours. Management realized how awful this was and took action. For that, I’m so, so thankful! The pictures do not do the complex justice. It’s a really nice mix of new and nature, with great areas to walk around. If you have a dog, I’d recommend the front of the complex. It also backs up to a nice next door neighborhood that is close to the water. Also, the pool area in our complex is resort-worthy. The maintenance guys are on another level. Sean was great from the get-go, being very pleasant while making realistic time frames. One time, we had an issue with the ac. He once again gave accurate time frames and was action-oriented. My husband was gone and I felt totally safe while Sean he worked on our ac, which is big for a woman by herself! Art is delightful as well. We mainly worked with Sean, but talked to Art in passing as he and my hubs are from the same state. He is delightfully proactive with his communication, and one of the friendliest people. He made us smile often. Both guys would always wave, sometimes talk a bit in passing, but then head right to their task. They were definitely focused on their work, but such people people! These guys are just beyond great. In case I haven’t said enough, there’s a Walmart Neighborhood Market across the street. It has most things that a regular Walmart does without crazy crowds. If you’re considering moving here, you really should."

"Residents here refuse to clean up after their pets, which us pretty disgusting and Disrespectful of the Property and other Residents. Be careful where you walk. Even the woods have this nasty look. You can not walk without having to step around it. Tenants said, they wait till night time and then they dony have to clean it up. Be responsible or don't have a pet in your apt. Gross I was just visiting. Not a Great look fir Potential Renters. Great looking Apartments"
