"Jessica was so very helpful. She helped us in our transition to an apartment and got us through the process. The apartment is beautiful. I can’t thank the team at Cayo Grande enough."

"I lived here from 2017 - 2019 and during my stay I enjoyed a good rate and location. The staff were friendly and helpful as they helped myself and a friend navigate adjustments to my lease while deployed and never had any issues with my apartment during the stay."

"I lived in cayo grande for close to a year back in 2020. When I moved in, compared to nearby apartments, the price for me was affordable, I shared an apartment with a friend and we were both SrA in the Air Force at the time. when hurricane sally hit, the support and communication from management was great and we were always kept up to date on progress with the repairs. Great first apartment to live in."

"I lived at Cayo for about 24 months. The office staff was always nice and extra patient with me since it was my first time renting. They had no problems working with me through some complicated military trips over the 2 year span. I recommended Cayo to everyone who was looking for an affordable and safe place."

"I lived in this apartment for five years for the price alone. The first few years the apartment was great. The last few years, not so much. The turnover of management has affected a lot. Military members be aware that anytime there is a BAH raise, the apartment complex will match it as soon as your lease is due to renew. The rental office does not answer the phone throughout the day you will have to go in person or email. Even then it’s a stretch for the response. Also when you start a lease, they don’t release the keys until the afternoon 1pm- 4pm (they open at 9am) even though you are paying for the entire day. If you break a lease, don’t forget in addition to the breakage fee, there is an additional $150 fee for no reason other than early termination. Also, mold is a big issue in these apartments since hurricane Sally. You can paint over it but it never gets rid of it. Even though you are paying for the electric, just know there is a certain temp the apartment requires you to keep the AC at to prevent mold and this goes against the FPL electric recommendations. I lived in two apartments in this complex and both had mold issues. I attached photos of the mold around all air vents so everyone can see. Interesting enough during this time I developed cardiac and respiratory issues…The second apartment, I was charged for the mold issues. So regardless of the type of mold, they expect you to clean it…also, the mail boxes were broke for months with no notification from the office. The only notification was two months later when the boxes were fixed. In the meantime you had to go get your mail from the post office. There was also a shooting this year with no comment other than “don’t worry about it “ from the office saying there was no threat. for anyone looking for a place to live, you can do better than this place…trust me."
