"We went to check in on Tuesday Jan 16th 2024 to Jan 29 2024 and the owner/manager told us we would have to pay her to renew Monday night before 6pm but check out was not until Tuesday at 11 am. Then she proceeded to question us if we could afford to stay there, where we worked at, how much we made an hour, where did we come from,and how often do we get paid. If I could I could this hotel zero stars. As long as long she is running it. It will remain empty. There was not any car but hers in the parking lot. She will speak down like you are worthless. For a roach motel. I recommend no one stays here."

"Had a very weird experience here in 2017. I was walking to my car in the parking lot around midnight. A Clearwater police officer approached me, pointed at my car, and asked me if it was mine. I answered yes. He then commanded me to return to my room and he told me to stay in my room until morning. He said he didn't want to see my car on the road and if he did it was going to be a problem. It was bizzare. I stayed in the room for about 30 minutes and then decided to disregard the officer's command. I drove home about 2 hours away and I haven't been back to that part of Clearwater, Florida since."

"Owner was horrendous. I tried getting a room. They have a sign up saying that they accept pets but it's a TRAP. I wasn't even bringing a pet, just had a question about her sign/policy. When you ask about it she literally says I don't have a room for you now, I think your a liar and will sneak in a pet (when she's clearly the liar saying she takes pets and does not, is just 'weeding out' people who possibly might 'sneak one in'. She yelled was rude threw items and was horrible. Spoke to someone staying there and service just as bad as her attitude, charges $75 UP FRONT for room cleaning which will o yl be done AFTER you leave, no housecleaning while you are there. There's bugs, no amenities, no food or services... She was BEYOND a turn off towards my staying there. When you try to ask about staying she demands to know where you work, how many hours, how many people will be there and to get room need id for everyone who will even just help carry your bag in and demands employment information for each person staying in the room. Keeps office locked and you have to ring doorbell then maybe she'll let you into speak, well YELL at you... She was only staff encountered (owners, lives on site) absurdly atrocious individual with ZERO people skills. STAY AWAY"

"Worst stay I’ve had in my entire life, and I travel a lot. Air conditioning did not work. There was no phone in room. No microwave. No refrigerator. The ceiling was flaking off onto the floor. Rooms are yellow from cigarette smoke and smell horrible. The beds are old and flimsy, sheets smell like smoke. We asked for towels and toilet paper and the owner was extremely rude and only gave us half of what we needed. Owner is cheap and extremely rude. Ripping people off for a room I wouldn’t even let my dog sleep in. Go anywhere BUT here you’ll thank me for this."
