Rodeway Inn Clearwater-Dunedin

"This is a nasty inn. Gross. Towels are stained and when asked for towels I was asked to go look for the housekeeper myself. Asked for non smoking and gave us smoking. Then switched to a chemical smelly one that gave my son a headache and nausea. We could not spend the night here."

"Comfortable beds and they allow pets. Other than that there were apparently permanent "renters" there who were pretty shady seeming. But worse were the towels-only 2 bath, 2 for face and very flimsy, and there were no blankets. The part they couldn't control but made it awful was all the road construction at the entrance. It was difficult to navigate and no restaurants or anything much around because of it for miles it seemed. I'm sure the roadwork is necessary but we won't head to Clearwater again until it's done!"

"Made a reservation and paid for it ahead of time Got my confirmation and they took there money!!!! When u got there the hotel guy was rude and telling me I wasn't who I said I was. Even thoe I gave him my driver license. Finally he let me have the room. 30 min later the man comes opens the door with a key card. And stood in the door way while I was nekad. Would not close it. And was saying he's calling the cops. I asked him atleast 20 times to close the Door so I could get dressed.. I was treated so bad and will never stay at another hotel. I'm so devastated"

"It's way more expensive than it should be. But they were nice people. 5he hi speed WiFi wouldn't work,I guess because we were so far from the office. But it was quiet. Room didn't look like the pics online. The towels were stained kind of bad. But we had brought our own.So it wasn't a problem. Overall our trip was nice and quiet. Just a little pricey."

"My husband and I stayed September 17-25 and were optimistic with it being part of Choice Hotels. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. If I was paying for the room I would have left right away, but my husband's uncle was paying and it was right down the road from his home (only good thing about the room) and we would only be there to sleep There was no room amenities, no coffee maker, no blow dryer, no microwave. There was a cook top that did not work. Completely out dated. Paint on the walls was pealing, water makes all up and down the bathroom walls, and around the vanity. Low water pressure. I showered at my husbands uncle's house. There was a small pool that I wouldn't go near. You could tell that it was a half way house/motel with alcoholics and drug users. Thank god We don't have kids. First night there we ordered from their "room service" then after they withdrew the cost from our account, they called and said the kitchen is closed and our money would be back into our account within 2-3 days. Again this was in September, I finally stopped calling and disputed the charge with bank. Take note....STAY AWAY. Not worth the cost. I wouldn't pay $.50 to stay there"
