"I just left Mavis and I am sorely disappointed with Ryan the store manager. He was dishonest with me. I asked him to look at my truck he told me he was too busy today. He simply didn't want to do his job because 5 minutes before I spoke with his counter representative and his counter representative told me he could get me in and out no problem. But when I went to get my truck and came back the counter representative was gone and Ryan was there with a major attitude. He told me he didn't have time to take the wheels off my truck and check my brakes because he only has one mechanic. I just saw two mechanics walk by so I know he's lying to me there's the other mechanic right there. He just told me he's too busy he lied to me and he didn't want to look at my car. There are no cars in ports. They are just refusing my business These are dishonest crooks. Try any number of mechanics in the area instead."

"I have been coming here for over 10 years since it was Kauffman. My cars don't see a lot of miles so I usually bring them in once a year for maintenance or when they need tires. In the last two years though this location has become bait and switch. Last year I called for a quote, made the appointment with a "manager" because it was a fair price, and when I brought it in the bill was more than I was quoted and conveniently they couldn't figure out who the manager from the day before was that gave me the quote. Eventually they threw in a teacher discount and got it closer to the original quote. Yesterday I thought I'd give them another chance- they quoted me for a thermostat housing, spark plugs, and alignment. Again, this was a manager and I made the appointment. When I came in this morning they had no record of it, and the price on the spark plugs went from $350 to over $600, and the cost on the thermostat housing went from $225 to $275. I was once again not dealing with the manager I had spoken to the day before but a different manager (the same guy pictured in Troy's review to be exact). I showed him the quote that Christian Brothers across the street had given me on these jobs which were $50 and $75 less respectively than his numbers so I asked if he could do better on his prices or match their quotes and he just said nope. I understand businesses have operating expenses and need to be at certain margins, but for $125 I'll drive 1 minute across Lithia and take a right onto Lumsden to a shop that's using the exact same parts. Two stars because the guy I was initially talking to was nice before the transition team manager took over and things went downhill."
