About the Business

ALCOLOCK Ignition Interlock

ALCOLOCK Ignition Interlock is a car repair institution located at 10738 Northwest 53rd Street, Sunrise, Florida, United States. They specialize in the installation of Ignition Interlock Devices (IIDs) for individuals who have been convicted of a DUI in Florida. ALCOLOCK has multiple locations throughout the state to make it convenient for clients to comply with the law and participate in the restricted driving program. Their trained technicians handle the installation, monitoring, training, and routine service of the IID, ensuring that clients follow the court order and successfully complete the program. Ignition Interlock Devices are highly sensitive to alcohol, detecting even the smallest amounts on the breath. Failure to pass the breath test will prevent the vehicle from starting. Clients must also attend monthly service visits to upload device records to the monitoring agency. ALCOLOCK aims to help clients succeed in their restricted driving program and offers support throughout the process. Contact ALCOLOCK today to schedule your Ignition Interlock Device installation appointment at a location near you in Florida.

"Absolutely the worst interlock device company ever. My cars brakes started acting up immediately after installation of device. Was assured by their mechanic that everything was fine. 27 days later my brake system failed. When i informed them my car was in the shop because of the brake situation. They proceeded to tell me that it would cost me 80 dollars to get them to give the mechanic the code to properly work on my car, if not i would be at risk for a violation and a lock out if the mechanic didnt work the machine properly. I asked them how this was fair to me, to essentially use my legal predicament to make more money off of me when my car breaks down after their mechanic caused the problem. They did not care, first they said it was the law. Then when I called guardian, their direct competitor, they informed me that this wasnt the law and that no such charge existed at guardian if your car broke down. When I called back to alcolock they denied saying it was the law and essentially told me that since i had signed the contract i had no choice other then to sit there and blow in the machine while the mechanic worked on my car, or to pay the money, or risk the violation and the lock out charge. When I asked to speak to a supervisor i was told that they were all on vacation for two months! I wish I was making this up but im actually going through this right now. Absolutely the worst interlock device company out there. As soon as my vehicle is fixed I will switch to guardian. Unbelieveable customer service and unscrupulous company."
