"My husband and I just visited this outdoor store for the first time based on a referral from a local furniture store adjacent to this store. We were working with the Designer at the local furniture store to design our interior and exterior, but we wanted three Lane Venture chaises that we had previously owned and that we failed in love with, but the Designer store did not work with the Lane Venture vendor, so he graciously called to Elegant Outdoor Living to inquire about these particular chaises and even picked out the fabric and color for us to take with us when we visited Elegant Outdoor Living. Well, we went into the Elegant Outdoor Living today and was greeted by a male walking by us, but never asked if we needed any help and finally a Salesperson by the name of Chuck finally asked if we needed help. I told him we were looking for Lane Venture chaises and he told us it was on the other side of the store. He finally ventured over to help us, but never introducing himself or asking our names. I guess he did not think we were going to purchase anything, just maybe we did not fit their customer profile. After explaining to Chuck what we were looking for and showing him a picture of the fabric that the Designer sent to me to give to them, he finally showed some interest. He quoted us a price and gave us a timeline. I then mentioned to Chuck that the Designer gave me a ballpark cost of what the chaises should sell for and Chuck told me that he had already given me a discount, but never told me the original price before he provided a discount, which I found to be strange. He then proceeded to talk to his Manager about the cost of the chaises and the Manager, showed little interest, immediately said no they could not give us a different price and walked way, The Manager may have thought that we were lying or making this price up to get a better deal and he was not interested in negotiating at all. We came there to purchase those chaises, but their unprofessionalism, negative attitude and no willingness to work with us cost them the opportunity of making close to $6,000. We were very disappointed that they did not show any interest in closing the deal. Your lost and another store's gain. We will take our green dollar bills and our beautiful profile to another store where we are treated with respect and dignity. Even if we found a lower price and you can price match it, you still would not earn our business. Do not ever underestimate who walks through your store, because it could be your largest sale."

"We had a great experience with EOL in Sarasota! We had shopped for outdoor furniture for quite sometime with no luck until stopping here while on vacation. Great selection and customer service...we had to order and have shipped because we don't live in the area but were comfortable in doing so with Ross and Shelly. Thank you!!!"

Shelly listened to my space challenges for my balconies and had excellent ideas and suggestions for what would work. I ordered a table and chair set and the table was available before the chairs. Shelly and her husband juggled the delivery schedule to get my chairs to me just ahead of company that I was having from out of town.
