"I've been running and walking the 4 1/2 mile path along side this lake since 1997. Great place for fresh air!"
"It's a lovely park with a nice breeze coming off the lake and my kids had a blast. A couple of things I'd like to see in the future: -More benches directly under the large oaks for shaded seating - the big kid play area should be under a canopy bc it gets HOT here Otherwise it was great!"

"Enjoyed a nice walk here this morning. Was a very windy day but still enjoyed it. Saw some birds but not much other wildlife. A nice wide, paved trail that doesn't quite wrap around the lake but still a several mile trail from one end to the other. Lots of walkers, bikes, pets, and even some roller bladers. Plenty of parking areas around the lake, but not all paved, and not all marked but seemed that you could park pretty much anywhere. Only other downside was there were no bathrooms."
