"My friend and I stayed at this location because it was available and close to our Winter Solstice Retreat from 12/16-12/22/23. My friend checked in first. Upon arrival I got into the messed up elevator with luggage cart and had to get right off because the 2nd floor button was pushed out of the spot. I felt uncomfortable poking my finger into an elevator. So I got off and waited to the second elevator opened up. Glad to say it was repaired in a timely manner. Housekeeping turned over the rooms every second day. Not daily as the sticker on the mirror suggested. We really were there to shower and sleep. Our day began at 245a and we arrived back to the hotel at 8p. Overall it’s a really great spot convenient on the main highway. Here’s a glance of their breakfast space."
"Standard Hampton Inn with friendly service and clean rooms. Breakfast area was bright and cheery with a good selection of items. I agree with several other reviewers: the parking lot is dark, and the hotel, while right off the main street, has a very isolated feeling. I felt a tad bit uncomfortable arriving solo late at night as a female traveler. Brighter lighting is needed. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to return."
"If you have to be in LakeWales, this is the place to stay. The area itself is pretty run down and a bit 'shady' , but this hotel is very nice. Very clean. Very nice accommodations and friendly staff."
