"It always amazes me how companies that spend millions on marketing will turn a brand new customer into an ex-customer faster than a :30 commercial. We're new to town, first time to set foot in this Walgreens. Our doctor placed the prescription at 6:00 p.m.--two hours before the pharmacy closed. Should have been plenty of time. Simple antibiotic Rx--10 pills. But it wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready before closing. They were full of excuses why they couldn't make it happen. All of them added up to one thing: poor management. Finally, the woman at the pharmacy rudely and bluntly said, "It isn't going to happen tonight." Fine, my wife will just live with the UTI for another 16 hours till you get your act together. Next morning, when she goes back in to get her Rx, while she's waiting, she overhears the woman at the pharmacy counter talking rudely to an elderly woman about why her Rx (heart medication!) wasn't ready for pick-up. Seems to be the common themes at this Walgreens:. Rx not ready. Rude customer service. That equals "ex-customer." We have too many other choices to put up with that!"

Know Your Enemy:

"The drive-thru was packed so I went inside...I had to wait for about 8 minutes for the question to be answered (confidentiality). All the while the two women in back were diligently working on filling and completing orders fast! I am tremendously pleased! For two employees, I was served VERY quickly! Excellent customer service!!!"

"It's really unfortunate that this is the only pharmacy that opens earlier than the others in this area. The pharmacist, pharmacy manager or whatever he is, (red haired guy) is very rude, and the one other girl working with him who had dark hair wasn't friendly either. She was also staring at my insurance card like my information was written in a foreign language. I normally use Lake Pharmacy in Eustis, but was forced to use this Walgreens in an emergency situation. Never again. Very poor customer service."
