"We hired Beach Monkey to build a pool at our house in AMI. The construction took months longer than the contracted date. They did not put in for the infiltration area which was a $9600 change order. I was told it was a brand new law (it went into effect in 2007...I looked it up). Communication was extremely poor. I was given start date after start date that came and went. The pool did get done about 8 months BEHIND schedule and it has been constant problems. The pool had a leak, the lights were never hooked up, they did not do the proper permitting which pushed out my CO. Door alarms with no batteries, the list goes on. Now my paver deck is sinking and I just got an intent to lien from one of the vendors because they did not pay for the materials delivered to my property. The whole experience has been a nightmare. I would strongly warn anyone to stay away from Beach Monkey and Fisher Brothers Engineering."

"I do love my pool however the sub contractors that Kyle snd Danielle work with for pool deck paver installation, were sub par. I have independently had other paver companies look at the issue of water run off and puddling and have been told the pavers were poorly installed and was provided with a solution. I have provided this feedback to Beach Monkey Pools but they remain non-responsive and the issue not resolved. They did however happily show up on my door step to retrieve their final payment, and pass off the paver stone problem as a landscaping issue and not an installation problem. Kyle then suggested I drill holes in my trex deck where the puddling occurs. The independent companies I had assess the problem and laughed at this as a band aid solution. Im still waiting for a response from Beach Monkey, and sadly if this review doesnt solicit one, maybe the Better Business Bureau complaint might."

"Beach Monkey pools was recommended to me by several local contractors that I trust because they are practical, reasonable and they do excellent work. I called them for an estimate on my old pool and the owner, Kyle Fisher, came himself. He clearly had a lot of experience and gave me a fair and unbiased assessment of my pool's condition. He recommended that I scrap the existing pool and build a new one. I am now working with an architect to draw up the new plans, and even without a contract in place with Beach Monkey, Kyle offered to give me several loads of fill dirt from one of his pool digs to fill holes on my property left by a new sea wall. His responsiveness, experience and decency is unparalleled. I am looking forward to working with him on the new pool."
