"This is one of the City's best kept secrets. Incredible staff, fun workouts and a warm, welcoming group of seniors. Thank you to our City's Parks and Rec Department!!"

"We had a gathering with some friends and colleagues at work at this park. It is a huge park with a huge field. We like it."

"Someone needs to update the website there are no Covid testing because of summer camp. Do not waste your time coming to Al Lopez park for testing in the summer because they are not doing it. I hope this helps people not have to leave their home unnecessarily."

"Another busy day at the community center, as it was the only facility open for COVID testing on New Year's Day. My experience was similar to a previous review, although there was actually parking available during my visit (although scarce). The wait to get through the line and complete testing took a little over an hour. Not the fault of the location, as the service offered for free testing is an offer you can't pass up so many take up the offer. Kudos to the community center staff that handled the testing. There was even a guy walking around outside offering bottles of water to those waiting. Not much more can be done, just expect a wait if you're looking to test here. Great park surrounding the community center BTW. Might be worth a return visit, though navigating the parking and the waiting testers might shy people away"

"I went for a covid test. Because it was the day after Labor Day, there was a long line, a one hour wait, and no parking spaces. The entire testing process was well organized, therefore the five stars. But here's a problem: there were so many people that there was no place to park. There was an area where you could turn around and people parked around the perimeter. As did I. When I came out, I found I had a $30 parking ticket from the city of Tampa."
