"First time ordering from here. The food got here in a reasonable time, and it was the food I ordered, so 3 stars to start with. But the food was awful: looked bad, tasted bad, pretty small portions. The other food pictures on here look good. If I was in the restaurant I would have sent it back, something I pretty much never do. What is the opposite of fall-off-the-bone?"

"Adorable counter service BBQ restaurant in the heart of downtown Clermont. Extensive menu. Fast and friendly service. Cute atmosphere. Seating inside and out. Ample parking in the town lot out back. Adult beverages, too! What more can you ask for?! Highly recommended!"

"I try to post pictures along with my reviews but this time, I was so hungry that I forgot to take the pics. But let me just say, you don’t need pics. Just go. The brisket and pulled pork sandwich was delicious. They have an assortment of unique sauces that will allow you to make each dining experience a bit different. I had the Florida citrus sauce and the white sauce. Both were amazing. The meat was smoked perfectly and not dry like most production bbq joints tend to be. I purchased the fried green tomatoes because I love them and it’s usually hard to find these anywhere. They did not disappoint. They were so deliciously sweet and breaded well. They were served with a white sauce that really brought out the flavor. My wife had the fried green tomato BLT and it was beautiful in presentation and equally as light and tasty. I will certainly be returning to try the fried okra and maybe the Reuben with turkey pastrami. Or maybe the brisket Mac and cheese with the brisket wontons on the side. My only complaint is the space of the dining room. It is very cramped and the tables are small but with the outside seating it helps a bit to spread out the crowd. This is a petty complaint because it’s very quick service and when the food is as good as it is, I’ll deal with the tight quarters. Overall, I’m very impressed and I am very happy to have an affordable and delicious bbq joint in downtown Clermont."
