The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

"There were stains on my towels and the bathroom smells horrible like there is something in the pipes … you can hear everything from your neighbors there was banging alll morning when we were trying to sleep and the stove didn’t work at all which really upset me after I bought a whole dinner to cook and couldn’t even cook it ….Even with do not disturb on the door house keeping was knocking on our door and woke us up and took the do not disturb sign with them… the only bright side was the bed was comfy and nice patio…."

"Rooms are basic and a bit dated but in a beautiful location with stunning views. And that's what matters most. I was surprised that there was very little in crockery and cutlery (no glasses or forks) despite the rooms having kitchen facilities. WiFi was rock solid."

"Affordable beach front hotel~Great location, gorgeous sunset beach view!! Near everything, even tho the weather is too chilly for us to enjoy the water during our stay, but we did enjoy our morning coffee & night drink at the balcony with the beautiful view and favorite music on. Kitchenette is a plus and the front desk Francis is the best, he helps us a lot during our stay, definitely come back again!"

"This was an old Motel. Very basic rooms, 2 beds and a night table, bathroom, tub. OLD. Paint on sparse walls touched up with mismatched paint. No fan in bathroom. Door almost impossible to open with our key. Very depressing and I wasn't expecting luxury, just pleasant. Zero decorations. Never again."

"This hotel is not what it used to be. As beautiful as the beach view is, the service and room would need some improvements. This is not a place for you if you have high expectations and wanting luxury. Our room was a decent size for two, but the bathroom was extremely small and the TV was barely holding on the wall mount. Our bed was not as comfortable liked we hoped. We struggled with room service when it comes to cleaning our room. The staff ask the guests a day in advance if you're wanting the room cleaned. As we did ask in advance, the maids did not make it to our room for the whole day while we were gone. We were not going to stay outside our room any longer when it's been over 6 hours. We had to deal with a sandy bed, piled up trash cans, and consistently asking for towels. That's another thing that needs work on is the towel limit. It felt as if they were stingey with the amount of towels we ask for. I don't know the reasoning behind it, but it felt extremely inconvenient. Their breakfast reminds me of a school cafeteria, which was disappointing considering the amount of money we put into our vacation. Then, we have the pool. The pool looked so nice, except it was always dirty up close with the seagulls taking their bath like ducks bathing in a pond. It got to the point my significant other has to grab their pool net to somewhat clean the pool. We made the best of our vacation outside, which Clearwater is a fun and a relaxing location to visit. However, when it came to relaxing in our hotel room, it was quiet a disappointment. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this hotel unless there have been improvements to the facility."
