Grandview Bed and Breakfast Mount Dora

"My husband and I decided to take a weekend trip to Mount Dora to visit my childhood town. We wanted to visit the Windsor Rose Tea Room but after learning they closed, we started looking for another place to go. Well what we found was an absolute gem. We only stayed for tea and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The owners are the kindest people. It felt less like a serviced restaurant and more like stopping for lunch at a friend’s house. Every single detail was so lovely and thoughtful. We each got to choose our own tea, and they had an excellent and interesting selection. Then, we had some fabulous sandwiches, scones, and blueberry muffins. Everything was homemade and served with fresh cream and jam. They also let us choose a tea to take home! We were welcome to sit outside on their cozy porch, or leave our car parked to walk downtown. I deeply regret not staying here and my husband and I definitely plan to come back again and again! I was reminded of the kindness and charm that is very present in Mount Dora. We both left feeling so warm and happy. Thank you so much Grandview and we cannot wait to return!"

"My husband and myself stay here for Anniversary on December 6-9.This on 2nd time and we plan on staying again. Dennis and Gwendolyn are excellent hosts and make you feel right at home.There home made breakfast are awesome and everything is bought at the local farmers. The places is very clean and they take great pride of there Properly. It's in a great location walking distance to stores and restaurants. I recommended the boat tour of the lake. It's a nice get away the town is beautiful."
