"PLEASE READ BEFORE PAYING!!! RAT INFESTED!!! I would like to start off by saying - I have never been one to stay in a fancy room. I travel alot for work and I would rather spend my money on my own home than invest in a fancy hotel im staying in for a night or two. Ive never spent more than $100 on a room. I can deal with a weird smell, chipped paint, and no free breakfast. I cannot deal with rats! Budget Lodge may have broken me from cheap hotels... of all the affordable hotels I have stayed in I have never complained. But this was next level. The infestation of rats in this building requires it to be condemned. I cant believe the health inspector has not shut them down. I was only in my room for an hour when i heard scratching in the walls, This was MID DAY mind you.... not even night time. The lower the sun got the more active they became. At first i thought it must be the room next door but when i went into the bathroom a huge field rat was running across the shower rod. I immediately notified the front desk to which the lady was VERY RUDE as i QUIETLY notified her i needed to switch rooms as to not embarrass her Infront of the guests checking in. After she continued being rude and refused to change my room I LOUDLY announced there was a rat in my room and if they wont give me a new room I want a refund. They lady looks me dead in the eyes and tells me to leave the hotel, I'm banned and that she is calling the police. I waited for the cops for 30 minutes and they never showed. Never got a refund for a room i spent less than 2 hours in."

"Ridiculous! The room had bed bugs. There were cockroaches in the restroom. Spider's behind the bed. The only reason why I noticed the spider's behind the bed. Was because bedbugs bit me in the morning. So I had to search the bed. I found only two, but I'm sure it was more. When my left to tell the owner about it. She was mad for no reason. She had no remorse for the situation. It just ruined our time together. Not to mention the sheets had stains. The bed also had a imprint. when I first got in the room I had to use the restroom. When I took a seat. I noticed the door. It was so dirty from the inside. After I finished, I looked at the front door it was exactly the same from the inside. I don't know we allow places like this to exist in America. I'm so ashamed. Good luck with this one. God bless!"
