Seffner Inn and Suites

"The room I stayed in was moldy. I had problems with the lock to the room and to the front door of the building. The a/c was nasty smelling. I got really sick staying at this place. If I could say anything good about staying here, it would be the breakfast was good. But, it wasn't. If you need advice on the best place to stay around here, I'd go up the road or across the street. Don't waste your time or money here. They don't care. You can see mold in the bathroom. It was painted over! See my picture. I was so sick, I couldn't think straight. My New Years Eve plans were changed because of this. I lost some valuable experience and memories."

"This is a great place to stay! The staff is incredible. Jay is extremely welcoming, and helpful with our guests. The free breakfast is great with a clean and tidy atmosphere. Highly recommend for families and friends. Amen"

"We stayed one night, the room was clean and we had no noises from other rooms. The lobby was nice and reception was quick and simple. The property is a bit dated with the carpet being somewhat dirty, the extra blankets in the closet weren’t clean from stains, but the bed itself was clean. Mattress is standard coil and not comfortable like a memory foam. If you need a place in this area, you will be fine. Breakfast is weak. Don’t expect much."

"Nice secluded spot. The front of the building is on the wrong side not on the street entrance side. New owner is refurbishing rooms a little at a time. Nice guy, very understanding. This place needs some TLC but its a little gem! A Gazebo outside has some blue lighting and benches that are wavering and falling apart. (Be careful sitting on them) Another small area outside the entrance to sit and chill with wicker seating for more than 4 that is comfy. Lobby is warm and inviting with a fireplace and seating. A breakfast area to the left in a separate room. There are stairs inviting you to the 2nd floor and there is an elevator also. There were not many guests when i was here but, the guests I did run into were nice. Some were regulars and agreed that the owner was a nice guy and they liked him. This rooms were decent, (I was upgraded to a suite without the furniture yet. That's why there is so much space in the pics) typical hotel rooms, nothing fancy. but clean and quiet on the 2nd floor by the stairs where I was. A few flaws that I would let them know about, besides the benches outside!... ***The tub was letting water down the side to flood by the door and the door was coming off the bottom hinge due to soaked wood rot on the door and the door stop right there. I tried to isolate it by making sure the curtain was covering all the splash area but it still leaked out somehow. The bath mat is SOAKED if it is on the floor so, I know it helped! Otherwise, like the first night i used it, it practically flooded the entry in the bath. This is the only safety hazard I saw. Other than that, cosmetically, the lamp shades need to be replaced. Not a deal breaker for me. No USB outlets only 120v. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower, lights microwave and fridge worked. I didn't get to try breakfast but the coffee was pretty good. There is handicap parking right by the entrance and a smooth walk to the entrance. No curbs to step over or transitions. I recommend and I will look to stay again in the future."

"I’m glad that I didn’t listen to some of these bad reviews because my stay was A OK! Housekeeping did a good job in my room( second floor). Everything was clean. Even the corners and under the bed and I dropped my charger behind the desk and when I moved it, it was even clean behind there. Some cleaners usually avoid those areas but there wasn’t a spot that was overlooked. Great job!!! This will be my girl of choice next time I’m in town!"
