Suntan Terrace

"Suntan Terrace was a delight for my sister and I. We had everything we needed for our four night stay…a great location, wonderful weather, clean and well equipped accommodations, fresh towels and treats daily. We saw FABULOUS sunsets two of our nights there. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning walks on the beach of millions upon millions of shells and our afternoons by the heated pool. Patty and her staff were MORE than accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable. There was a glitch receiving our registration information but it was remedied quickly and we were able to access our room after hours. We are eagerly planning our next vacation at Suntan Terrace."

"Spent four nights here at the end of January to celebrate my 62nd birthday and had a fabulous time! Second time staying on Casey Key, but first at Suntan Terrace and what a gem of a place and one I'll be sure to book again when in the area. Room had everything I needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay and stepping out my front door to the view of the beach was pure heaven. Staff was incredibly friendly and best part was they were available whenever needed, but basically left you be to enjoy your stay. Best part was morning coffee on the patio while taking in the beautiful view and attending the Nokomis Beach drum circle at sunset right on the beach on my actual birthday and within walking distance of Suntan Terrace. A great slow paced place to stay, just like the island is, and if you are looking for rest, relaxation and a place to totally unwind, then this is the place for you. Can't rave enough about my stay and was all that I had hoped it would be!"

"We have the most fantastic time staying here! The rooms were big, clean, and absolutely beautiful scenery all around. It was great being able to wake up and walk right to the beach in a few steps. The staff was incredible and would do anything to make your stay great! The staff is the best part, they are so welcoming and friendly! And will give you great recommendations for food or activities in the area. It’s a great place for any type of trip!"

"8 of us spent a week at Suntan Terrace and it was simply perfect. Right on the beach, family owned and you are treated like family. Older property with updated rooms, and constantly looking to improve the property, very clean, great attention to detail, very quiet area, yet minutes from Venice and short drive to attractions in Sarasota. Walking distance to restaurants, highly recommend Pop’s. If you are looking for an alternative to high rise resorts with too many people, and medium service at best, Suntan is the place."

"I absolutely LOVED our trip here. Comfortable accommodations, clean, and the staff was the best part!!!! Anything you need they got you. Amazing advice on places to visit, places to eat. Seriously highly recommend this place. It's great for a couples get away, friends trip, or a family reunion. Right on the beach and all the shark teeth and shells you can find!"
