My Sarasota Getaway

"Interesting Jimmy Buffett vibe kind of place. They say it is a 2 star and while it is in some ways. It was a 5 star in the way Cindy the manager was accommodating. Sat around a couple nights talking and the conversation was lively and in-depth. I am an author I was able to sign one of my copies to Cindy. The warm reception and the great location were worth the sacrifice for something more expensive. I spent most of my time doing great activities like sailing, dolphin watching, visiting a dear friend's Grave site, swinging at Bay Park in Sarasota and I got to see some of my family."

"Just visited a friend that is staying there. The room was clean and spacious. There was a nice pool and a cute tiki-hut style section with picnic tables to enjoy a nice outing with family and/or friends. I met and spoke with the owners and they were very pleasant and accommodating. Seems like more of a "long term stay" kind of place instead of a hotel for the night."

"The room was not super clean at all. Non-smoking room with a disconnected smoke detector. When we arrived the television was non-functional. I had to find the problem myself, and was never followed up with as promised the next day. Overall the stay was mediocre. If you're on a fixed income and tight budget, the place is acceptable. 2 to 2 and 1/2 stars. By the way, if you're staying for more than one night the maid service is non-existent. But they do tell you that up front."

"Beautiful location close to the beach, rooms were very clean and the best showers around! The service was outstanding everyone there was very nice!! The pool was clean and beautiful and they have hammocks threw out the property such a nice relaxing addition to a beautiful vacation!!!! I will choose this location every time im in nokomis!!"
