"The park is clean and quiet. Sites are not on the lake, but it can be seen through the trees. There is access to the water. It's much quieter here than at Silver Lake. The hiking trails are easy and beautiful."

"Nice. We tent camp, canoe, and bike. Easy ride to excellent paved trail and mountain trails. Carried our canoe to put in!!! We got a tent site with electric and water... a luxury for us. Decent and convenient bathhouse. No bear boxes or dish washing station. Friendly hosts. Ants can be a problem because of the sandy soil. Noise from 75, but not troublesome."

"We love this campground. It is not very well known so not hard to reserve. We especially like the sites on the outside. Trails for both hiking and biking. Access to the river. The bathhouse is rustic. Lots of hot water but it definitely feels like camping. No laundry."
