The Majestic Jewel Inn of Apalachicola is a luxurious lodging institution located at 73 Avenue East in Apalachicola, Florida, United States. Romantic, luxurious, and yet so comfortable! Built in 1908 as a private home for the prominent Flatauer family, it was later restored and housed a bank and an insurance agency. After sitting dark and empty for eight years, in 2017 it was brought back to life as a grand inn. The free style classic architecture and its colorful history is a wonder to behold!

Situated in the center of the historical district and just a few blocks from everything that Apalachicola has to offer, The Majestic Jewel is the best way to experience southern grandeur in this charming little town. Plenty of well-lit parking is available so you can park and walk everywhere, including restaurants, galleries, shops, river wharf, park, and fishing pier on the bay. Boat trailers are welcome to park on site as well!

All suites are designed with guests' comfort in mind, with modern amenities added while keeping with the design elements of this historical home. Each suite is elegantly furnished and has its own ambiance, as well as a modern attached bath with bath products and plush towels. The beds are top of the line with fine linens and amazing pillows. The joined at The Jewel service offers vow renewals and intimate weddings for guests. Guests can reserve one suite or an entire floor. The hosts are flexible and truly enjoy sharing this jewel with guests. All income from rentals goes back into the continued restoration of the old Flatauer house, circa 1908.

"So….high hopes for this historic hotel. Reserved it based on location and reviews. Stayed in the Ebony Rouge room. Liked the first floor location at first but then….it was so noisy. There is music playing in the great room just outside your door. That is the common area for guest to use. Your room is next to the creaky wooden steps do you hear everyone walking up and down at all hours. Not sure I could recommend for a romantic getaway."
