"Exceeded expectations! Boy was I pleasantly surprised by the character, cleanliness and quality this "hotel" that feels more like an Inn or Bed and Breakfast. The location is another plus. I previously stayed at the Best Western in Apalach, and it was nice (for a Best Western). But for the price, the Riverwood Suites is HANDS DOWN the best place to stay while visiting this quaint seaside town."

"Lovely place. Stayed in the Moonlight Suite. Perfect for the two of us. Very spacious with a kitchenette area with full size fridge, microwave and Keurig Coffee maker. Nice furnishings and a California King bed. Great sheets and pillows. Fold out Love seat... Didn't use that feature. Nicely sized TV. Sat out on the huge porch had a drink in the rocking chairs and listened to live music from the High Five Dive Bar. Music was not an issue in the room. Had a very nice time. Restaurants and shops and Oyster Bay Brewery all within walking distance."

"This rustic charming hotel is everything you expect with five star rating. It is comfortable and clean. You feel like you're there alone. The porch is very comfortable, cozy, and spacious. You can hear live music from the porch at night, but not in your room. The downstairs garden/pond/seating area is so cozy and beautiful. We will be coming back again!"

"This is one of the nicest places I have stayed. It's so clean and quiet. The rooms are furnished beautifully to retain the charm and character of a classic inn with all of the modern upgrades to the bathroom one needs to feel comfortable. Each room is uniquely decorated with elegant yet comfortable furniture. These suites are situated downtown within easy walking distance of boutique shopping, art galleries, and a variety of local restaurants with fresh and delicious fare, especially seafood. The locals are very friendly and proud of this town's rich history, including harvesting oysters and sponges. Within a block of the hotel are residential streets lined with gorgeous classic Victorians, Greek revival, and some Florida cracker-style cottages. The gulf is a quick and lovely drive across the bridge. The beach has enough of a surf for some action for the kids, but it is safe and clean. The town and beach are pet friendly."
