I do not believe that and probably how she makes extra $$$$. If she didn't want to sell the 7, I should of been given first option to take those back, like she did with the others. Flipped her own rules."

"Hometown GEM! We LOVE Carousel kids (and I say we because both myself and my kids equally love it)!! Carousel Kids is a family owned small shop (with some BIG deals and steals), I am passionate about supporting local and small shop whenever possible, here the small shop (with frequent visits) turns into feeling like family- a shop where you walk in the door and they not only know your name, but your kids names too. They constantly have a revolving inventory- you can go in at 10am shop, leave, come back at 3pm and there’s a fresh lot of new inventory (ask me how I know LOL). Carousel Kids has a carefully audited intake process ensure all the goods on their floor are in top quality- and with the affluence of the area there are so many high dollar, high end, quality pieces at an amazing deal/price! The joy of the deal/steal is double fold when you also consign there— turn in your quality goods, and then shop on account credit! Use what you buy for xxx amount of time, then turn it in and shop again! We’ve purchased toys, clothes, shoes, furniture, decor, you name it, they have it! Truly one of my favorite businesses/places to visit in Lithia and a GEM that is not to be missed!!"

"The original owners of this business were great people. After they sold the business, it totally went downhill. I took a super large tub of mostly new clothes, many with tags still on them to consign. A couple months later, I went in to shop and was told that I only had a couple dollars in my account. I was SHOCKED. When I asked why, the woman lied and said the clothes I took were "old" and/or "stained." Now, first, it wasn't true at all. I wouldn't have tried to consign any old or stained clothes, and most were brand new, but were given as gifts, which my son outgrew before he had a change to wear. Second, it had been months, and there was no way this individual who wasn't there when I dropped off the clothes, would even remotely know the condition of the clothes dropped off. I felt completely duped and a fool for not getting any type of accurate descriptive receipt listing what I gave them. They sold all of the clothes, received all the profits, then lied about it. I even had signed up with them to pick up any clothes they wouldn't accept for consignment once that had a chance to examine the clothes, as they claimed they couldn't look at them while I waited. I never received any call from them about them not accepting any of the clothes. It is such a shame that this business changed so drastically when it was sold. It used to be a great store with lovely people. I used to love to buy books there for my son. Given my experience, I'd never go there again. I wonder how many other folks have dropped off items and had the same experience. Totally sketchy. I'd never go back."
