"REVIEW FOR WEBSITE ORDERS Dreadful service online. Don't trust them for Xmas gifts! I ordered an item weeks ago and, after chasing it a few times, received an email saying they had canceled the order "due to a technical issue." No apology, no refund (I had to chase that) and they did not automatically re-place the order. After spending hours on the phone, I finally got a refund and re-placed the order. Two weeks later and still no sign of it. And still no response from the company as to when or if I will get it. So I emailed them - again - and, after a lot of back and forth, discovered the item was out of stock - yet they had NEVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME THAT. In fact, they had sent me an email saying "your order is on track." And IT WAS SHOWING AS IN STOCK ON THEIR WEBSITE! After complaining a few days ago, someone called me today and apologized, offered me some paltry discount on another item. I said I would never do business with them again. But here's the best part. They sent an email asking for a review, so I wrote up a totally honest account of what happened -- AND THEY EMAILED BACK SAYING THEY WOULD NOT PUBLISH IT because "it did not meet all our website guidelines". -- Ha! It was supposed to be a Xmas present for my wife. Truly dreadful service from what I thought was a decent company. Never again."

"The best customer service ever ! I have shopped at WHBM for years and nominate the store at St Armands Circle as the best. I recently purchased a black halter pleated dress. I tried it on, loved it and wore it out. Then a friend pointed out that the side seam was misaligned and badly stitched - note to self "pay more attention to whole garment not just fit!". Anyway, I took the dress to WHBM at St Armands and was lucky that Jenifer served me. I told her I had worn it and not noticed that it had an issue - she was so keen to make the situation right, looked at the offending seam and agreed it was a manufacturing defect and even though I had worn the dress and cut off the tags she refunded my money. It is this level of customer care that keeps me going back and gives me confidence in the whole brand. Jennifer always gives great advice, she knows her products extremely well and cares that customers leave the store happy. BRAVO!"

The person working with me was Naomi and she was AMAZING. She got items that were exactly what I was looking for (and then some that I didn't think I was looking for) and put together outfits for me that I love. She definitely has a passion for this job that translates to pure excellence. Well done, White House, for employing such an amazing staff member. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store and ASK FOR NAOMI."
