"This is the only service in Hernando that cares the most as far as I am concerned. They are truly non-profit with a staff who really does care about everyone's personal situation. It's really like another family. When their Executive Director Tina knows you need help, she will go out of her way for you. She doesn't turn anyone away but will work long hours for you without you even knowing. This place should be recognized throughout the county for everything they do because it's important. I believe NAMI may be preventing a lot of really bad situations from occurring and in some cases, they may be the reason why some choose to keep living."
