Tampa General Hospital Spring Hill

"If there was a negative star I’d be using it don’t let the one star fool you there are no stars at this institution.. I’ve been to this hospital a few times with emergencies I have not once had a pleasant encounter. Maybe it has to do with being bought out twice in the course of a few years. The staff is insensitive for one, I took pictures of the room I was in I’ll be uploading those next. It basically was as if the room was not sanitized from the last patient that was in that room. I have pictures of an empty soda can in the sink, crumbs left medical Supply table and stains all over the floor. The occasion I am referring to was my last experience I want to say out of four. Once the nurse came in my baby was in tears clearly at a 10 in pain. Mind you he’s 7 And had been sick for three days. They never gave him fluids/ IV which is what he needed, but then proceeded to tell me how to give medicine to my child. While I’m standing with three children this isn’t my first rodeo. All around worst hospital I’ve ever experienced. Hopefully with new management this will change. I however won’t be back to know or recommend anyone to this establishment. I will drive a little out of my way to a hospital where I know me and my loved ones are being treated not only properly medically, but as well as respectfully."

"I recently made a trip to the ER the night after I had surgery at a different hospital. It was so nice to have the same nurse for the entire 8 hours I was there. I must have gone in around the shift change. Anyway, when I got there, I was promptly taken in to registration and then off to an exam room. My RN, Scott Harrell took such great care of me! I was almost passing out when I stood up and to try to determine what was going on I had to stand up a lot. Scott was compassionate, attentive and genuine. Everyone knows that nurses have a tireless and sometimes thankless job. Not the case there. EVERYONE I had interaction with was kind. The rooms sparkled and they had plenty of them. I certainly don't want to return there but, if I ever am in the need to go to an emergency room, I will go to TGH Spring Hill. Thanks for taking such excellent care of me!!"

Big HUGE thank you to Kevin at check in... the ER staff and one of the best ER nurses I have ever had "Kim Dunn"!! You truly found your calling. It's a hard job and you make it look easy.
