"I have two girls enrolled in cheer at Movez: one on tiny sparks and one on live wire. Both LOVE their cheer days and their second home. They feel welcome and safe when they enter and leave exhausted and happy. Communication from the coaches and the team moms has been great. They offer extra private lessons to the girls (extra fee but worth it) that are very beneficial. They try to set up fundraisers to help off set the costs. We are one competition in and the girls did great- looking forward to the rest of competition season."

"We had a horrible experience with the cheer program at Movez. The gym charges fees similar to well established cheer programs, yet offers no explanation or breakdown of fees. You have no idea where your money is truly going or if they are up-charging uniforms, music, choreography, and other fees. We were promised fundraisers, many were cancelled at the last minute. They used fundraising money that was supposed to offset choreography or music costs, to pay for a “social”, taking away hundreds of dollars from the girls who did the fundraising. When I questioned this, I was rudely told that fundraising is a courtesy to us. However, they use the “promise of fundraising to offset costs”, as incentive to join the team. Beware, you cannot count on fundraising. The girls had tryouts in April 2023. Those who made the team, worked all summer to get their final placement on specific teams. Long after tryouts and even after the season started, Movez allowed other girls to join the team, which displaced some of the positions, of girls who had worked hard all summer. It was clear that it was about the money and not about integrity or the team. Tryouts are a joke; you can join any time, they will gladly take your money. Most importantly, my daughter and a teammate had a situation. The teammate was being silly and not taking stunting seriously. My daughter feared someone was going to get seriously hurt, so she brought this up to her teammate and her teammate began to cry. The coach, not knowing who made her cry at this point, made a comment about wanting to punch whoever made her cry. Well that was my 10 year old daughter. This is not the way you speak to or in front of 10 year old girls. This is not the way to instill the love of cheer into these girls. The coach denies saying this and never took responsibility for her words. She called it a “misunderstanding”. Overall, the program is shady and disorganized, the facility space has been significantly cut, open communication is shut down immediately, and honestly/integrity does not exist here. We left in the middle of the season out of principle, losing thousands of invested dollars on top of a $400 cancellation fee. I asked that my concerns be forwarded to the owner so I could address them privately, I received no response from the owner. Save your time, your energy, your sanity, and your money, find another competitive cheer team."

"It looks that is very good place, I had several recommendations but I tried to enroll my daughter after season started and It would not be possible because they charge you for the months before you child starts (because they charge the whole season) plus $900 up for uniforms!!!! To start in September, I needed to pay Jun, July, August and sept tuition plus uniforms!!!! Thats crazy! We are talking around $2000 to get into the team just for starting after. I think is better not receiving kids after the season started and tell the people better wait until next season. My daughter was very sad because she has some friends there and she practice Cheer at her school but she wanted to be "more professional". It will be maybe next year. Nothing to do!"

"My daughter has been part of the CHEER team for the past year and LOVES IT!!! As a mother you look for a place where you know she will grow as an athlete and this has been it. She feels comfortable and sees the studio as a safe place, she truly enjoys it and all the girls have become family for her!"
