"I was invited on a tour of Tivkah Lake and what a memorable and inspiring experience! Thank you Adam Nesenoff for an amazing day visiting Tikvah Lake Recovery. I love connecting with other like-minded and client-centered programs/professionals. Days like this reaffirm my belief that compassion, understanding, and authentic connection is what truly helps us all navigate the hardest and loneliest parts of this human experience."

"Extremely unprofessional I would read the reviews throughly before coming here. The admissions person Jill will tell you anything and everything to get you through the door and once you’re there you’ll find out everything she said was a lie. My husband was kicked out due to having health issues. They kicked him out without his medication and now will not answer any of his calls/texts knowing his recent diagnosis. We have also asked for medical records they will not respond. While there they got a new director who told everybody staff / clients not to speak to him prior to kicking him out. (Lol, the new director mean girled him) The level of unprofessionalism here is uncanny. Let’s not forget the first day of admissions Victoria the tech was telling him she wants to get promoted to house manager so put in a good word for her and ended up being the rudest one there. By the way, there is no private chef the food is dropped off in a bag and the techs have to cook it. You have to pay for anything extra. They are extremely cheap to the point where all of the food they do have that you don’t have to buy on your own is great value. Great value isn’t the issue by the way they're displaying themselves as a luxury treatment facility then nickel and diming everything when you arrive. They have their employees driving you around in their own cars (no liability there am I right?) they’re so cheap that they don’t pay their employees gas and mileage while making them take their own vehicles under their own insurance. They also do not drug test. There is about 2 hours of group a day (if that) and if you’re lucky you get an individual session. Treatment centers are required to have a minimum of 5 hours a day to be considered a real treatment center. In the 9 days there, there was 4 hours of group and no individual sessions. Byron who is the lead therapist should’ve become director of these facilities. The new director is a business woman with no personal experience with addiction. Some people seem to forget the letters at the end of their name means nothing if they don’t have compassion towards the recovering addict. This place is a joke do not come here unless you’re looking for a place to hang out and play video games outside of home for a bit but if your looking to actually recover this is not the place for you. It’s also not a group setting if you’re set to go there you may be going alone or with one other person (which you would think there’s more individualized therapy due to the lack of clients, nope) Be very careful attending / sending a loved one here. Once you’re not a client they won’t even return your calls. Also, be smart about the marketing technique they use. Behind every bad review a good one is next. I really wonder why."

"Excellent safe haven to escape to and heal from the inside out. There are counselors available 24/7 even outside of one on one sessions. Weekend therapy IS AVAILABLE which is a necessity-Katherine even zooms sessions on family vacation throughout the weekend!! You only get what you put into your recovery out of your recovery! If you're ready to dive deep and find out who you truly are meant to be this may be the place for you. Staff is excellent. Top notch. They're ready and willing to go above and beyond for you per request. The house is spotless, the pool is out back if you need down time, and they only house a few people at a time so you can get the treatment you need."

"I am a guest here. I absolutely love it here. It has changed my life 100%. I do not have any cravings for alcohol, and I feel that the counseling that I've received has really just put me over the top, changed my life, and I'm looking forward to where I go from here to my next chapter. I love the staff here. They are all wonderful. They do everything for you. Anything you can ask for. They're personable, and yet they're not in your face all the time, but they're right there with you whenever you need them. I love it. I really do. I feel really at home here. It's a nurturing place. Going out on the boat is so much fun, and it's tranquil. The waterfall on the spa is tranquil. It's just relaxing. And you do your homework, though, and you really get into your own personality and dig deep. And it's not a walk in the park, though. It's a serious program. You really are here to evaluate yourself and get into the nooks and crannies as to why you might be a user. The food is amazing. Oh, my gosh. And he makes me the special food, whatever I want. And I'm a very picky eater. My room's nice. It's wonderful. It's nice and homey. The bed's comfortable. You feel like you're at home. You really do. And you go and play cards, and we play left, right, center, and all kinds of different games, and you just are always doing something. Love the environment. It's wonderful."

"No treatment AT ALL on weekends. No treatment anytime after noon during the week. Not equipped to handle people in extreme emotional distress. There is no chef - they reheat meals from the freezer. They are incredibly cost-conscious and cheap for the price you're paying. The after care was non-existent - one of the therapists was often completely out of it during our sessions and stopped responding to my after care requests. You have 2-3 individual sessions on weekday mornings and THAT'S IT for treatment. Literally. I never even saw their psychiatrist I only saw the psychiatrist's nurse/assistant. Don't get fooled by the people putting up a myriad of 5 stars reviews right after a 1 star review. I wasn't going to post this review because I don't like to trash businessses but this place is deserving of this publicity."
