"If I could give them a minus, I would. I have been trying to get my GL policy requoted for over a month now. No one returns my calls. The one call that was returned, I was promised a quote within a day. It never happened. I called again and was told someone would call me later that day. It never happened. There was an urgency to this as my business GL policy was expiring. Screw these losers. I got it somewhere else with one phone call and as my other insurance policies come to renewal, I am dumping this company. What a waste of time!"

"Please save your time and effort this insurance company lacks follow through, proper documentation for correct policy coverages and customer service. I'm also posting on the BBB for questionable business practice. Day 7 still waiting on a call for my proof of payment an attorney from a collections agency is waiting on. Unprofessional and lack of concern for personel or business needs"

"I have been with them for years and I do NOT recommend. They've let my (auto-paid) policy cancel twice during hurricane season. Each time, to get the policy back, I have to pay for new inspections and be exposed to a full loss of my home during the 90 day waiting period for new policy "because I let my coverage lapse". I should have left them the first time it happened, but I gave them another chance. Big mistake. They do not return phone calls, emails, smoke signals, or any other form of communication. This last incident, I got a letter that had been forwarded from my old address that said there was an issue with my policy, to contact them. I tried via phone and email. By the time they got back to me, i had no time to resolve Citizens' issue and my policy was cancelled. The issue was I needed to cut limbs touching the roof, why not print that in the letter? It took 2 weeks to schedule the tree guy, do the work and send the photos, but it's too late."

"If I could give negative stats I absolutely would. I was working with an agent, signing what was needed promptly and not getting responses. My policy almost canceled because no one followed up. It took multiple calls and voicemail to get a response. Now repairs were needed and the agency did not provide the information to me. They wait until the end of the day to send emails and do not call back. They are including items for repairs that are not being requested by underwriting."
