"Front desk okay! RN has poor listening skills. Spent too little time with me,l. I felt he did not value my concerns and symptoms. Refused to do an x-ray of my lungs and also a blood work. I was very worried about how long my symptoms have been bothering me,and especially considering my health issues. My requests for a more further investigation that day was due to the fact that I was new in town, did not have a family doctor yet. Yes, my expectations were high as I was not feeling well. He simply sent me home suggesting Tylenol. A week later, I was back at a clinic, but this time the ER, where I was very well taken care of!"

"We made anappointment online for 12:15 PM. We arrived at 12:15 PM And signed in with the receptionist. At 3: 30 p.m. we finally got to see the doctor on call. While we were in the waiting room, we heard several people come and go because they said there was a three hour wait. No one told us that when we checked in or we would’ve went somewhere else but after sitting there 3 hours we figured it wouldn’t be much longer. We finally got to see the doctor at 3:30 PM. She explained that she was the only doctor on call. She was very thorough and the nurse on call was so helpful. I just wish someone had told us that it was going to be such a long wait. When you go to urgent care you expect to see someone soon not 3 1/2 hours later. The only reason I gave them a four was because the nurse and the doctor were wonderful."

"Good experience, busy place! The staff was friendly and professional. They open at 8:00, I was there at 5 till and was 3rd in line, the 2 in front had arrived at 7:30 so if possible, get there early. It took about an hour and a half to go through all the steps here and then another hour+ to get the Covid meds prescribed from CVS so all in about 3 and a half hours door to door back home. I had actually gone over the day before in the late afternoon when I tested positive on my home test and was told up front it would be most likely 2+ hours to be seen. I didn’t feel like setting and waiting that long in the office so the reason I went back early the next day. In summary, considering how busy this place is, was as good of an experience it could be considering everything. Great people and great care. Only reason I took a star away was due to the long wait times."

"Less than a 1 star if possible. I walked in, expressing concerns about being lightheaded and unable to pay attention/stay alert. Before seeing the nurse practitioner, the assistant took my vitals. My blood oxygen level was 88%. I was then examined by the attending, who didn't read my intake chart, prescribed 2 Tylenol, and was about to release me. Fortunately, my wife pointed out the oxygen level, and after taking another reading, this time at 90%, I was advised to go to the emergency room. I had Pneumonia and was lucky it was caught early. If I had been sent home, it would have been a multi-day hospital stay for sure."

"Webster defines Urgent as “Urgent requiring immediate action or attention “. When I was referred to TGH Urgent Care in Wimauma due to swelling in my hand that was increasing in size and pain I assumed that I would have to sign in and register prior to seeing a doctor. I arrived at 11:45 am and was surprised at the number of patient’s waiting in the reception room. All those waiting watched as a frantic husband brought in his frail wife who was gasping for breath. He approached the reception desk to be told to wait until till she finished registering another patient. We all watched as her breathing became more laborious and when a woman’s name was called to see the doctor, she gave her slot to the woman who was struggling to breath. A fast check by a medical person and she was told to go to the Emergency Department across the highway. I assisted her to the front door as her husband went to get the car. It was now 2:00 pm and patients that arrived before me we’re still waiting. Finally at 4:00 pm I was called and sent to another room to wait. At 4:30 pm a nurse practitioner came in and advised me they only had one doctor on duty and he had left at 4:00 pm. He examined me and told me to go to the Emergency Department across the highway. This place should not be open or called Urgent Care. God help those who go there in need of “Urgent” assistance. It seem to be “register and hope for the best”."
