"THIS IS NOT TO COMMENT ON HOW GOOD THESE DR.'S "May" BE. I was sent to this office by the VA for cardiology clearance for surgery by the VA. That should have been my first clue. This office is terrible as far as customer service and/or care for who they are seeing and why. I was seen there for cardiology clearance for surgery as I have 8-9/10 back, neck arm. leg, and chest pain(non-cardiology symptom), can't stand or sit for any period of time. I am a 100% disabled in the line of duty US Marine. Do you think they care? No. The first visit all the tests were fine and normal, but seeing as how the VA was paying, they decided "lets do an cardio eco gram and chemical stress test too!. Another trip. Got all that done and told them to send the clearance to the surgeon. Saw the surgeon last week, no clearance. Called Florida Cardiology and seems they won't send the clearance, the Dr has to see me. Go to my 10:30 appt at 10:20, and proceed to stand in line for 18 minutes because there were 2 people checking in in front of me. 18 minutes to check 2 people in ahead of me! And then by the time they got to me, the pain was at a 9/10 and I couldn't move. Them they bring me in to the Dr's office where I sit and wait another 10 minutes. Dr walks in, looks good, your cleared for surgery. REALLY! YOU COULDN'T DO THIS OVER THE PHONE OR TELE-MED? NO, OF COURSE NOT! AFTER ALL, NOW THEY GET TO BILL FOR ANOTHER OFFICE VISIT. You see, being a Dr, I just sit, watch, and listen. It is NOT difficult to tell who treats patients for money, and who treats patients because they need to be treated. This office was NOTHING MORE than a money grab. They saw a disabled vet and billed for everything they could get. Very sad. I would steer clear of this place!"

"My review is for Dr. Chalavarya specifically. I arrived early for a 9am appointment, and was left in an examination room alone from 9:15 to 10:10. Since I had sat in the exam room for close to an hour with no update from the staff, I went out to ask what was the hold up. I was told that the doctor hadn't even arrived at the office as yet. I left. Dr. Chalavarya may or may not be a good cardiologist, but his and his staff's rude disregard for their patient's time doesn't give me a good feeling about his ability to have the kind of doctor/patient relationship I desire. It implies arrogance, and in my experience arrogant doctors rarely really listen to their patients. I will note that aside from leaving me alone with no update on the doctor's delay, his staff was very pleasant and efficient."
